(1) 这是一个宾语从句。 how far we have to go

做 mind 的宾语 , how far 为宾语从句的引导词。

在宾语从句中如果主句是过去时，从句必须用 过去时的某种形式；如果主句是一般现在时， 从句根据实际情况而定。在宾语从句中，必须 用陈述语序。e.g. I told him he should finish the job.

(2) mind 表示“介意，反对” , 后接动名词或 从句，多用于疑问句、否定句和条件句中， 常用句型 would you mind…? 例如： --Would you mind my sitting here?

--Of course not/Certainly not/Not at all.

点拨： mind 后接动名词时，动名词之前常加物主代词或代词的宾格形式。

4. The room needs to be big enough for three people. “adj/adv + enough (for sb) +to do sth” 意为“足以……”。 “not + adj/adv+enough (for sb) +to do sth” 意为“不够……以至于不能”，相当于“ too

… to” 。例如： He is old enough to go to school. He is not old enough to go to school. =He is too young to go to school.

5. We’d like to be away for about three weeks.

be away 意为“离开”，如加宾语为 be away

from…, 表示一种状态，这种状态可延续 一段时间，而 leave 为短暂性动词，不能与 一段时间连用。例如：( 误 ) How long has he left?

(2) 英语中短暂性动词与延续性动词的常用词 转换如下： die be dead leave be away (from)
