Why map for universal design?Persons with disabilities tend to get minus spiral interaction by interference to participate society. (障害を持った人は社会参加の機会を妨げられることで負の相互作用を受けやすい)
- Universally designed social infrastructure is needed so that they can participate society
for themselves.(自分自身で社会に参加できるようインフラ整備や配慮が必要)
- Everybody needs universal design someday.(誰にとってもいずれは必要)
It's a matter of basical human rights To go out wherever he/she wants.
自分の意思で行きたいところに行くということは
人間の尊厳に関わる基本的な権利。
→独力でそこに行ける地図があれば。。

2 point of view on mapping for universal design
1)Appeal bad design/barrier to municipality or shop owners.(バリアーを指摘し関係者にアピールするもの)
-Think about universal design together(ユニバーサルデザインというものをみんなで考える)
2)Using as a navigation system(ナビゲーションガイドとしての利用)
・Search at home before going out(外出前に自宅で調べる)
・Carry a paper map(紙の地図を持ち歩く)
・Carry a smartphone(位置情報を取得できる携帯端末を持ち歩く)
