“IPT mempunyai banyak makmal penyelidikan dalam nic yang sama. Contohnya, nic Nanoteknologi mempunyai 16 buah makmal, Bioteknologi
41 buah makmal dan Automatif 84 buah makmal di seluruh negara. Kerjasama makmal penyelidikan merentasi IPT bersama industri adalah
perlu jika kita ingin melihat keberhasilan yang berimpak tinggi. Sehubungan dengan itu, kementerian ingin memperkenalkan program
Central Lab Management (CLM) atau Makmal Pengurusan Berpusatdengan peruntukan sebanyak 80 juta ringgit. Program ini bertujuanmemastikan perkongsian teknologi antara makmal penyelidikan IPT bersama industri ke arah memajukan nic strategik yang dikenalpasti
seperti Nanoteknologi, Bioteknologi dan Automatif sekaligus membantukemajuan industri negara khususnya Industri Kecil dan Sederhana (IKS).
Kerjasama ini besar ertinya apabila ia bukan sahaja mempereratkanhubungan antara makmal IPT dan industri, tetapi turut membangunkan
teknologi tempatan pada masa yang sama.”

Shortlisted proposals will be called for further evaluation
