Description :Alasan yang mendasari perlunya dibangun waduk pada daerah Banyuwangi antara lain karena debit air pada mata airdan sungai jauh berkurang pada musim kemarau dan berlebihan serta terbuang begitu saja ke laut apabila musim hujan.Salah satu cara untuk menanggulangi hal tersebut, maka dibangun suatu waduk di Sungai Kajar (anak sungai K. Baru)Desa Kalibaru Wetan Kecamatan Kalibaru Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Salah satu komponen yang paling penting dalamsuatu bendungan adalah spillway. Spillway merupakan suatu bangunan yang berfungsi melimpahkan kelebihan air daridebit yang akan dibuang sehingga kapasitas waduk dapat dipertahankan sampai batas maksimal. Dalam suataperencanaan spillway diperlukan pertimbangan dan perhitungan œ perhitungan sehingga didapatkan suatu desain yangefisien dan paling ekonomis. Untuk mendapatkan lebar spillway paling ekonomis dilakukan perhitungan biayabendungan dengan membandingkan besarnya biaya spillway dengan lebar tertentu dengan besarnya biaya volumeurugan yang dibutuhkan untuk pembuatan suatu bendungan tersebut. Tipe spillway pada Waduk Singolatri inidirencanakan menggunakan tipe spillway yang biasa dipakai pada bendungan tipe urugan yaitu pelimpah bebas mercuogee. Dari hasil perhitungan perencanaan dengan menggunakan debit rencana 100tahun (Q100th) didapat dimensibangunan pelimpah dengan lebar ekonomis sebesar 26 meter, elevasi puncak spillway terletak pada + 509,00 dengandasar waduk terletak pada + 497,00, elevasi puncak tubuh bendung terletak pada +513,30. Untuk perencanaan kolamolakan dipakai kolam olakan USBR tipe I dengan panjang kolam olakan sebesar 18 meter. Dari perencanaan dimensispillway, kemudian dilakukan perhitungan stabilitas yang meliputi kestabilan terhadap guling dan geser. Dari hasilperhitungan kestabilan didapat kesimpulan bahwa kestabilan spillway belum memenuhi syarat sehingga diperlukanperkuatan.

Spillway is one of the most important components within a dam. Spillway is astructure whose function is to overflow excessive water, so capacity of reservoir can be kept till maximum limit. Withinplanning of spillway, it needs considerations and calculations to build a spillway efficiently and economically. To obtaineconomical spillway width, it needs calculations of dam cost by comparing cost of spillway in certain width with soilvolume cost needed to mound that dam. Type of spillway planned for Singolatri Dam is spillway type that usuallyutilized in type dam, i.e. mercu ogee free abundance. By using design flood 100 years is obtained spillway design, 26meters in width, elevation of crest spillway is +509,00, bed elevation of dam is +497,00 and elevation of crest main damis +513,30. The design of stilling basin uses USBR Type I with 18 m in length. From spillway dimension planning,stability is measured, covering stability from rolling and shifting. From stability measurement result, it is concluded thatspillway stability has not fulfill minimum requirements, so it needs to be strengthened.
