LEAP FROGS

When the U.S. Navy Parachute Team, the Leap Frogs,

performed a demonstration jump June 15 for students

attending the Naval Academy Summer Seminar, they

took along an unexpected guest: a Naval Academy

midshipman.

Midshipman 1st Class Ryan Hill, president of the

academy’s Parachute Team, had the necessary

qualications, and his coach Mike Davidson brought upthe possibility of his jumping with the team when theycontacted him for air support.

The Naval Academy Parachute Team works in

conjunction with the Naval Academy Skydiving Clubto safely introduce midshipmen to the demands of

skydiving.

 A new program is helping Naval Academy midshipmenexperience some of the rigors of ight school beforethey decide what service assignment they want tochoose.

 A sailor stationed at Naval Support Activity Annapo

was recently offered a residency through the Univeof California, Los Angeles International Medical

Graduate Program, to begin in June 2015.

The Class of 2018 will arrive July 1 for Induction Day.Information on schedules, parking, gate access and
