Trimble is a global company with presence in about 150 countries around the world We have about 8000 employees and 2b of annual revenue Trimble develops hardware and software solutions for industries such as building consruction, heavy civil, mining, geospatial and transportation On the hardware side we develop positioning and 3D mapping devices susch as highly accurate GPSs, 3D laser scanners and total stations. On the software side we develop design, tools. Project mnagegement and Facility management solutions . SketchUp, the 3D modeling package might be the most famous one but there are at least a dozen of other advanced solution.
