Ambulance 1 Assists At Windham Multiple
Vehicle Accident
A multiple vehicle crash on Route 111 required the response
of four ambulances on July 1st. The accident occurred after
several cars rear-ended each other injuring several passengers.
Dispatcher Stuart toned Ambulance 1 with a crew of
Lieutenant Dube and Firefighters Blinn and Levesque to the
scene at 12:02. On their arrival they treated and transported
two patients. Several others were transported by ambulances
from Windham, Pelham and Londonderry all going to local
hospitals.
Two Ambulances Called For Motorcycle
Crash
Two motorcycles crashed on Bush Hill Road on July 11th,
sending the two operators to Nashua hospitals for treatment of
injuries. Dispatcher Collins toned Medic 4 with a crew of
Lieutenant Mamone, and Firefighters Berube and Canavan,
Squad 1 with a crew of Firefighters Armand and Winsor along
with Car 4 with Captain Morin.
On arrival Medic 4 reported two bikes o"the road. The crash
happened when the bikes were navigating a curve and struck
each other. After evaluating the patients a second ambulance
was requested to the scene. Medic 1 with a crew of Firefighters
Brideau, Graham and Benner were toned to the scene.
Both drivers were packaged and transported to the hospital
for further treatment.
Family Pays A Visit To Crews That S
The Day
On February 27th, a call was received for a poss
child birth at ## Steal Road. Toned to the scene wer
4 with a crew of Lieutenant Paquette, Firefighters W
and Bradish and Ambulance 2 and Car 4.
Just before Medic 4 walked through the door the

On July 13th, Baby Valerie, her mother, big sister
grandmother visited Central Station to meet with Lie

Med Flight Called For Motorcycle Crash
A motorcycle crash on The Sagamore Bridge on July 14th,
required a Med Flight Helicopter to fly the patient to Boston.
Dispatcher Glenn received numerous 911 calls at 15:41reporting the crash. Toned to the scene were Medic 4 with a
crew of Firefighters Sands, Rich and Graham, Squad 1 with a
crew of Firefighters Lappin and Mulcay and Car 4 with Captain
Gannon. Car 4 and Medic 4 arrived on the scene at the and
reported CPR in progress. Car 4 assumed command of the
scene.
Crews began treatment of the patient and requested a
helicopter to the scene and an additional engine to set up a
landing zone. Engine 1 with a crew of Lieutenant Dube and
Firefighters Blinn and Levesque along with Car 3 with a crew ofDeputy Tice and Lieutenant Rudolph were toned to the scene.
Medic 4 provided aggressive treatment and a pulse was
restored to the patient. The patient was packaged and readied
for the helicopter.
Both lanes of the Sagamore Bridge were shut down by
Hudson and State Police as Engine 1 set up the landing zone.
The helicopter landed and the patient was loaded and flown to
Boston for further treatment.
Heavy rush hour tra#c came to a halt and backed up for
miles while crews worked the scene. Two other accidents took
place on the bridge which Nashua Fire handled. Crews cleared
the scene at 16:30.

Two Ambulances Called To Derry S
Crash
Hudson Police requested crews to respond to a tw
vehicle rear-ender crash at the of Derry Street and El
on July 14th. Dispatcher Stuart at 21:32 toned Squad
crew of Firefighters Lappin and Mulcay, Medic 1 with
of Lieutenant Dube and Firefighters Blinn and Levesq
with Car 4 Captain Gannon to the scene.
On arrival crews found two injured patients and se
non-transports. Upon evaluating the injured it was de

Crews Respond To
Pelham Second
Alarm
Two alarms were struck
for a house fire in Pelham on
July 20th, bringing Hudson
crews to the scene. Pelham
firefighters were called to
391 Old Gage Hill Road for
the fire shortly after 16:00.
On their arrival heavy smoke
was coming from the evesof the one story ranch style
single family home.
First arriving unit s

bringing Hudson Engine 2 with a crew of Lieutenant Weaver
and Firefighters Cormier and Patterson, Tanker 1 with a crew
of Firefighters Armand and Lambert, Car 3 with Deput
and Car 4 with Captain Grebinar to the scene.
With limited crews on scene and no hydrants in the

Methuen and Dracut Mass responded to the scene.
Several Hudson companies responded to the 2nd alarm in Pelham on July
20th.

Joe Kuhn sent in this photo of a engine from the Pohang South Korea. Members Remember Torrey Deman
Torrey Demanche passed away on July 20, 2015
battle with Cancer. Torrey served the department for
years as executive secretary for the fire chief. Torreywith the department on August 3, 1998 and leaving
department on August 3, 2012.
Torrey was a members of the Hudson 911 Memo
Committee and served as the groups secretary. She
volunteered for several groups around her home tow
Amherst.
A wake was held on July 26th and a Memorial Se
held on July 27th. All of us at HFD send our deepest
sympathies to her husband Tim and daughter Katie.
Executive Secretary Torrey Demanche passed away on July 2
Firefighter Ian Canavan receives a donation during the first MDA Boot Drive
held on July 18th.
Nashua Fire held a training burn for its newest firefighters on
10th. The house located on West Hollis Street provided two d
training.
MDA Boot Drive Held
The first of three MDA Boot Drives was held on July 18th, at
the intersection of Derry, Ferry and Chase Streets. Members
collected a total of $1,853.36.A second drive will take place on August 15th.

Med Flight Called For Trauma Patient
A call for a fall on July 30th, required a Med Flight to
transport the patient to a Boston Hospital. Dispatcher Stuarttoned Medic 4 with a crew of Firefighters Sands, Rich and
Graham to 17 Burns Hill Road at 19:17 for a fall related injury.
On arrival the crew reported CPR in progress and
requested additional assistance to the scene. Toned to the
scene were Squad 1 with a crew of Firefighters Mulcay and
Lappin and Car 4 with Captain Gannon. While the additional
crews were en route Medic 4 requested a helicopter a

Truck Day at the Rodgers Library on July 8th.
The annual Retired members Barbecue was held on July 18th
