The photos in this book of photographs taken in Bantar Gebang, Bekasi, Jakarta, Indonesia. Bantar Gebang landfill is in Indonesia, many people flocked to come to make a living being a trash scav-enger, they collect waste-plastic waste for recycling and weighed in by the authorities and they got a very small wage isn't worth the sweat they collect plastic waste under the searing Sun. I could feel their hardship from the look on their faces, but there is one thing that seized my attention, which they are still able to laugh in the middle of this cruel world.

Introduction

I see and able to feel the suffering of those who are at the expanse of trash, they live, sleep and do their activities among the garbage that it smells very foul. However, I pay attention to aspects of the lives of slum dwellers “Sincere” sincerity makes them unable to survive in an environment that is not liveable and views the people who disparage a scavenger, but they still work for their lives. A number of children in Bantar gebang garbage Hill dubbed it knows no education, since they were born and they grew up there without getting to know the world of education.

I see from here, they are on top of the stack’s trash to find rubbish for sale.

They stay there, and take shelter in the sun sweltering

I conclude their stay in the country above the clouds, feeling that the grandeur and beauty of nature just for them.

Shoes are basic necessities for them, protect from sharp objects

Her gaze looks very clear, that the burden which she paced. The highlight of their eyes I feel they have a covert distress, though she still collects garbage for survival.

Every day they await new middens to find goods that can be sold back, and they snatched away the trash-collecting garbage for the sake of an expensive mercenary.

With the faces of grieving and looks tired during the day, the mother continued to collect waste

They look like hunting valuable objects, find a used goods for resale on the hill which is a pile of junk that it smells very smelly

I saw a little boy playing with a toy that he found , at first he stands then he sought shelter and he suddenlyl moved.Yes he is playing with her toys under the hood, probably he took refuge under the midday sun

He was very enthusiastic about his new toy

He viewed with detail, why his cameras not working?

She said one day fate will change, the wheel of life will spin

That’s one reason why she is very positive withher life, she always smiles even though life suffered and she was a scavenger.

She said being hapy is a happiness.

Life is a gift from the creator. We as his creations need only look forward and surrender to him, tomorrow and forever our life was gripped by his love.

Life is Live

Don’t worry about tomorrow

Although we are merely slum dwellers but we reserve the right to get happiness is by laughing and smiling

helping each other is our happiness because we can find joy and feeling of togetherness even though we are not a family

They are the ones that are special. They can find beauty in the darkness, can create perfection in despair. They are not ashamed to call them-selves a scavenger, they know their job is halal and they hold on to the principle that we are made from the same Creator.
