Main Project and thesis Project Name : Advance Security System using PIR Sensor and Microcontroller.
Role : Embedded System, PCB layout, Soldering, Microcontroller programming
Status : Completed
In this project we have used a PIR sensor project which is used to sense the motion of the object. This sensor
uses passive infrared rays to detect the motion of the object. This sensor gives digital output with the
movement of the object in front. This digital output is given to the micro controller. Whenever there is any
motion in front of the sensor the microcontroller gives command to the relays to switch on through the relay
driver ULN2803. First relay is switch on the bell. Second relay is switch on the bulb. The motor driver is used
to drive the stepper motor on which the camera is mounted. Thus the camera would rotate only when there is
somebody present outside. There by saving the energy and switch the bell and light automatically.
