The situation on the global

camera market is dramatic:

According to GfK, only 65

million cameras were sold in

2014, equivalent to a decline of

21 percent. This year, the figure

is expected to fall by another

28 percent to 50 million.

Apart from high-end compact

cameras and mirrorless system

and some specialty products

such as actioncams and light

field devices, there is really no

segment that is still growing...
