Formulate and execute a campaign plan towards the passage of the Reproductive Health Bill.

Inter-agency Information and Education Campaign towards promoting awareness on HIV/AIDS and STIs especially to highly vulnerable sub-sectors of the youth (migrant youth, LGBT, etc)

In coordination with DSWD, DOLE, DOH

Legislative Agenda + Program

Formulate and execute a campaign plan for the passage of the Local Youth Development Council Bill and the SK Reform and Empowerment Bill.

Program:

National training on community organizers towards the establishment of the LYDC in municipalities.

Baseline research on the mechanisms of the LYDC gathered from case studies.

In coordination with DILG and selected local government units.

Formulate and advocate for the passage of the Security of Tenure Bill.

Program:

Inter-agency coordination towards the orientation of graduating students on workers’ rights (CHED, DOLE).

Capacity-building component of organizing and capacitating young workers especially in the informal sector.

CROSS-SECTORAL AGENDA

Addressing SOGI discrimination in campuses and the workplace:

Campaign and lobby towards the passage of the Anti-Discrimination Bill

Addressing sexual and reproductive health rights across all sectors:

Campaign and lobby towards the passage of the Reproductive Health Bill

CROSS-SECTORAL AGENDA

Addressing workers’ rights and welfare:Campaign and lobby towards the passage of

the Security of Tenure BillEstablish inter-agency mechanisms in securing

pro-worker initiatives

CAPACITY BUILDING AGENDA

• Capacity-building modules and training on the following:> technocratic skills such as resolution-making, project proposals, etc.> basic skills in community organizing> political education among members

LOCALIZATION AND EMPOWERMENT AGENDA

• National Training on Community Organizing:

> 50 pre-selected youth leaders in and outside of the campus to undergo training on community organizing and development to be deployed in key areas for operation.

> Will be held in April 2012.
