ABOUT KARAD
Nestling amid hills and rivers, Karad is a picturesque city in Satara
district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It lies at the confluence
of holy rivers the Koyna and the Krishna popularly known as Preeti
Sangam (Confluence of Love), one of the enthralling tourist sights.
A large number of educational institutions are setting up huge

Engineering, College of Agriculture and College of Pharmacy,

About Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Satara
Rayat Shikshan Sanstha is one of the largest and the leading educational institutes in India. Founded by the eminent educationist and social reformer, Late Padmabhushan Karmaveer Dr. Bhaurao Patil, in the year 1919 at village Kale in Karad tehsil. The Sanstha has contributed immensely to educate the masses in Maharashtra. At present, it runs 36 Pre-Primary Schools, 51 Primary Schools, 438 Secondary Schools, 42Colleges, 07 Training Colleges, 90 Hostels, 08 Ashramshalas, 06 Industrial Training Institutes, 05 Regional Offices and 59 other branches having 454547 students and 14118 employees. Besides, 06 colleges of Sanstha have got the
+ Autonomous status and 06 colleges were accredited with A grade by NAAC.
About Sadguru Gadage Maharaj College, Karad
Established in June 1954, Sadguru Gadage Maharaj College, Karad, an Autonomous college affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur is a multi-faculty premier institute of higher education, having more than 13000 students on its roll. Today, the college offers diversified programmes in conventional, non- conventional and professional modes. Apart from this, the college imparts skills and career oriented education through 03 Diploma and 27 Short Term Courses. Recognizing its contribution to the Higher Education the college is conferred with an Autonomous Status by the UGC, New Delhi from June 2019. Considering its academic credentials, NAAC, Bangalore has designated us as a Mentor College.
School of Science
The faculty of science was initiated in 1965. This opened avenues for students aspiring to pursue their education in science. Thousands of students availed of this opportunity and made progress in their lives. The faculty started offering post-graudate porgrammes in Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Mathematics, Statistics, Microbiology and Computer Science. With the recognition as research centre by Shivaji University, students are pursuing research to obtain Ph.D. Most of the faculty is engaged in research. Research output in terms of papers published, presented and citations is quite high.
The Conference
National Conference on ‘Emerging Trends in Zoology and Biotechnology’ is aimed at providing an opportunity to researchers, students, scholars, faculty, industry personnel from various disciplines to interact and present their research work to the audience which will be a fine blend of senior as well as budding scientists.

Call of Papers The abstracts are invited from authors for poster/oral presentation on the thrust areas mentioned above. The soft copy of abstract should be sent to Email ID of conference. The abstract of research papers be limited to maximum of 300 words and sent to email ncetzb2020@gmail.com Authors of selected research articles will be communicated to submit full papers in a soft copy format in A4 size, MS-Word, Times New Roman Font 12 size with 1.5 line spacing and having not more than 8 pages as a single file. Other formats will not be accepted. All selected papers will be published in the Peer Reviewed Journal with ISSN No.
Authors will have to pay the publication charges extra after acceptance of the paper.
Note for Plagiarism and Ethics
Paper will be accepted for review on the condition of a declaration by the scholar that the manuscript has not been copied, published, presented or accepted for presentation at other professional meetings and is not currently under review for presentation at other professional meetings. A declaration to this effect must accompany the final paper in the given format. Authors intending to present the paper must register for the conference personally.
Poster Presentation There will be a poster presentation session in the day of conference. Poster size should be about 1m. x 1m. The poster should be legible from 5ft. distance with clear figures and tables.
