RINGKASAN
Bagian Kesekretariatan di Fakultas Teknik Universitas Muria Kudus
merupakan bagian yang mengelola urusan administrasi termasuk menangani
permohonan surat, pencatatan surat masuk, urat keluar hingga pengarsipan surat
hingga disposisi surat. Permohonan surat yang masih memerlukan waktu yang
lama, karena masih menggunakan formulir permohonan surat. Untuk melengkapi
formulir permohonan surat, pemohon harus datang menemui ketua program studi
(Kaprogdi) meminta tanda tangan yang kemudian formulir tersebut diserahkan oleh
staf yang membuat. Selain permohonan surat yang masih manual permasalahan
yang sering terjadi adalah seringnya mahasiswa yang datang berkali-kali ke
Sekretariat untuk mengambil surat dikarenakan tidak adanya informasi yang akurat
apakah surat yang telah diajukan telah jadi dibuat. Permasalahan juga sering terjadi
ketika surat masuk tidak sampai kepada pihak yang bersangkutan karena banyak
hal. Seperti, dosen atau staff yang tidak berada ditempat sehingga tidak mengetahui
bahwa ada surat. hal tersebut akan menjadi masalah apabila surat tersebut bersifat
penting dan segera untuk ditindak lanjuti.
Sistem Informasi Kesekretariatan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Muria Kudus
Berbasis Web Responsif merupakan salah satu sistem yang mampu diterapkan di
Sekretariat Fakultas Teknik. Sistem ini dibuat untuk memperbaiki sistem manual
yang ada menjadi tersistem sehingga bisa diakses melalui desktop maupun mobile
serta mampu memberikan informasi mengenai administrasi surat yang ada di
fakultas teknik yang disimpan kedalam database server. Metode yang digunakan
dalam pengembangan sistem ini adalah Metode Waterfall. Sedangkan untuk
metode perancangan sistem menggunakan Unifed Modelling Language (UML).
Hasil akhir penelitian ini berupa Sistem Informasi Kesekretariatn Fakultas Teknik
Univeristas Muria Kudus.

ABSTRACT
The Secretarial Section at the Muria Kudus University Faculty of
Engineering is the part that manages the administrative affairs including handling
letter requests, recording incoming mail, outgoing vein to mail archiving to letter
disposition. A request for a letter that still takes a long time, because it still uses the
application form letter. To complete the application form, the applicant must come
to the head of the study program (Kaprogdi) to request a signature which is then
submitted by the staff making. In addition to requests that are still manual letter
problems that often occur is the frequent students who come many times to the
Secretariat to retrieve the letter due to the lack of accurate information whether the
letter has been made has been made. Problems also often occur when incoming
mail is not up to the parties concerned because many things. Like, lecturers or staff
who are not in place so do not know that there is a letter. it will be a problem if the
letter is important and immediately to be followed up.
Secretariat Information System Faculty of Engineering Muria Kudus
University Based Responsive Web is one of the systems that can be applied in the
Secretariat of the Faculty of Engineering. This system is designed to improve the
existing manual system into a system that can be accessed via desktop and mobile
and able to provide information about the administration of the existing letter in
the engineering faculty stored into the database server. The method used in the
development of this system is Waterfall Method. As for the system design method
using Unifed Modeling Language (UML). The final result of this research is the
Secretariat Information System of Faculty of Engineering of Muria Kudus
University

Dengan memanjatkan puji syukur kehadirat Tuhan Yang Maha Esa atas
Rahmat dan hidayah-Nya sehingga penulis dapat menyelesaikan Skripsi Penulis
juga bersyukur atas terselesainya penyusunan laporan Skripsi ini.
Penyusunan Skripsi ini merupakan salah satu syarat untuk menyelesaikan
program studi Sistem Informasi S-1 pada Fakultas Teknik Universitas Muria
Kudus.
