T E M P O R A R Y A R T G A L L E R Y

This space was projected to be a temporary art gallery at the park "Parque da Luz" in the city centre of Florianopolis, Bra-zil. The design was inspired by the local nature, the dark wood color and the walls with glass were choosen in order to camouflage with the trees behind the area. The ceiling is made of glass to capture the sunlight and the access is via a ramp for disabled people. The main goal of the gallery was to be an inviting place for everybody who appreciate art.

The space is ample enough for the pas-sage of a weelchair, with a simple decor to emphasize the art pieces.

F A M I L Y R E S I D E N C E

The house developed was made for a four members family and was in-spired by the modernism era in Brazil. The designed residence fits pre-established characteristics from a users profile and aims for social interaction, prioritizing multiple living areas. The design is basically made by straight lines, with use of logs on the frontage of the house. It is a three floors building where in the first floor is the garage and a small fashion atelier, the second have the social areas and in the third are located the private spaces.

This project aimed to develop the sur-vey skills of a prec-edent work by re-cording measurments and detailed infor-mations using Auto-CAD to communicate the informations.

The glass installa-tion inside the porch of St. Peter's Church in Sunderland (Eng-land), embodies a mix of memory, sensing and emo-tions. The concept was built on hour-glasses represent-ing the transience of life, from our birth to our death show-ing how fast time flows. SKETCHE AND MODEL
