Affordability
How can affordability issues within Ban Mankong be addressed?
• Recyclable construction materials from existing dwellings translates into financial asset
• Reduce the cost of houses to make them more affordable – initial estimates from the survey suggest this could be a third (50,000B) of the overall cost of each unit
• Reusing materials can reduce the need to buy new additional construction materials.
• Selling and/or buying from the second hand market can reduce construct costs
