B.Sc(N) PROGRAMME INTRODUCTION:- Education is a life

long process and a graduate nurse emerging out of the Universities should be turned to learning throughout life. Graduate nursing education started in India in the year of 1946 in CMC, Vellore and in the RAK college of nursing at Delhi university.

PURPOSE OF B.SC(N) PROGRAMME On completion of the four year B.Sc

nursing programme, the gaduate will be able to:-

Apply knowledge from physical, biological sciences, medicine including alternative system and nursing in providing care to individual, families and communities.

Demonstrate critical thinking and skills in making decisions in all situation in order to provide quality care.

PURPOSE OF B.SC(N) PROGRAMME Utilize the latest trends and

technology in providing health care.

Provide promotive, preventive and restorative health services in line with national health policies and programme.

Communicate effectively with individual and group.
