Eye-level

Where the camera is placed at the subject’s height.

A news anchor reporting on a story

High Angle

Camera is above the subject, making the character look weak or submissive.

Low Angle

Taken from a camera below the actor’s eyes, looking up at them.

Dutch Angle/Tilt

The camera is leaning sideways, changing the horizon to a tilt. This angle creates a more dynamic

composition.

Aerial View

Also known as a bird’s-eye view, this angle shows the scene from directly overhead.
