Finding Themes

Go to the following website:

Theme Choice

Scroll down the list of themes until you come to the Mandigo theme. Click on the name

New Theme 1

Scroll down this page until you come to the ‘Download’ option

New Theme 2

Download the zipped file to your computer

New Theme 3

•Follow the instructions in Tutorial 1 to get to the themes folder•Click on the Upload files option

New Theme 4

Browse for the zipped folder and upload it

New Theme 5

click the tick box next to the zip file and hit the extract icon at top of screen - this takes zip file and unpacks all its contents into your web account.

When you are finished, log into your wordpress blog and go to themes. You should find that wordpress has found all of your themes.

Logging Into Your Blog

When you login to your new blog, you will see that the dashboard is not too unlike Edublogs

Finding the Themes

Scroll down the Dashboard area to find the Themes icon on the lefthand side of the page.

Changing the Theme Option

•You will now have three available themes to choose from. •Click on the Mandigo theme to activate it

Personalising your Theme

•In your Dashboard area, scroll down to the Theme Options area •Some Themes allow you to personalise the Header

One Final Step

In the Theme Options, you must tick the box here so that your new header image will show

Your New Header Picture

When you view your blog, the new header picture will be there
