Dear debaters,

Did you already pack your suit? Didn't you forget your case files? Are you ready?

The OrgComm for this year's Leiden Open is very excited to welcome you all to the beautiful city of Leiden this weekend. With the oldest university of the Netherlands.

The Leiden Debating Union is less old, but this year is it's 10th birthday. And you are all invited to our big party. I hope you will all have an exciting weekend!

To get here from the station takes about 30 minutes walking. There is however a very good bus system: you can take 6 different buses to the bus stop “Burggravenlaan”.

Socials Venue

We will walk to the socials venue in big groups, where we will party until 4 AM! The break for the semi­finals and the novice final will also be announced at the socials.

Be kind to the neighbourhood

Every fraternity has to keep a good relationship with its neighbourhood; if we leave the party at 4 AM please do not shout or make a lot of noise. The fraternity uses fines if these rules are disobeyed and we are not planning to pay these fines for you.

Since we only start at 11 AM, there is no breakfast, but here are some suggestions where you could go. Furthermore, the building only opens at 11 AM, so try not to be too early.
