BALL LAUNCH MECHANISM

The ball launch mechanism connects to the cement line and controls the release of a phenolic ball into the fluid stream. It is the ball which blocks the fluid stream, and the subsequent pressure increase dislodges the cementing plug from the end of the CDS.

CONTROL PANEL & HAMMER UNION ADAPTERS

A hammer union adapter is used to connectthe ball launch mechanism in the cement line. The cement line is then connected to the side entry sub.
