oThe history of flag originates from 1603 , when king of Scotland James VI inherited the throne of England. April 12, 1606 approved a new flag of the Union of States.

oIn 1801, with the adoption of the Act of Union of Great Britain and Ireland was formed United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. The flag was added the symbol of Ireland – the cross of St. Patrick.
