TRAILER https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whkQOZXfjlM

All the products made all are similar in terms of mise en scene, they all have the same font and text style for the title which allows the audience to know it is from the same film. We decided to keep the same text as it helps with the branding of our work to make it all look apart of the same product, also we were really happy with the outcome of the title as it fits the horror genre and also has a old tv grain effect on it which works really well, it's definitely original which is what we liked about it so used it on all 3 products We also kept it white as it helps contrast against the black background.

We also have included the same mask concept idea to help illustrate them film to the audience to allow them to know they all come together and compliment one another. We decided to keep the mask idea in all three products mainly for the branding of it as this is the main selling point for our project. In the poster we decided to show a contrast between the plain mask and the blood mask to show two sides of a killer to help illustrate our catch phrase 'there's always a darker side' which we felt worked really well, but on the poster we deicded to keep it more simple and show just one side of the killer, as the red contrasts the white mask we felt this worked really well with the 'Empire' title behind her head.

Throughout the trailer and used for writing on the posters and magazine's we used the red colours to help the genre come through to the audience throughout to suggest the horror/murder theme. The red is used only for one section of the trailer, this is to show contrast between the white writing seeming all innocent at the beginning of the trailer but then at the end turning red to show jealousy and danger. The poster has only small sections of red to just add snippets of horror to it and also it works with the black and white with red.

COMPARING ALL THE PRODUCTSthe poster

I feel they all work really well together and definitely look they are from the same film. The only noticeable difference is that the magazine is a lot lighter than the other products; this was done for effect as when we made it darker it looked over the top and ruined the effect of it, unfortunately it doesn't bring the same horror feeling as the others but we did

this as it looked more effective lighter as when made dark it washed out all the features on our magazine so we decided we'd leave it a bit lighter, I do however still think it works.
