• Chateau La�te Rothschild is available in our portfolio however our focus in Vietnam is around making La�te wines accessible to Vietnamese consumers at reasonable prices. • We are stocking some fantastic initiation or entry level wines from the La�te Bordeaux and Southern France Collection.

• Chateau La�te is the most famous name in the world of wine.• La�te was the favourite wine of the British Prime Minister Robert Walpole.• In Paris, it was known as the “Kings Wine”.• La�te was also personal favourite of the US President �omas Je�erson.• La�te was variously described as the:

• “Fountain of Youth”• �e “Ambrosia of the gods of Olympus” and even• “the �nest vineyard in the Universe”

• In 1855, a league table was produced for the best French wines for the Universal Paris Expedition and La�te was ranked at the top of a group of four of the best Chateau in the Bordeaux ahead of Latour, Margaux and Haut Brion.• La�te was described as the “leader among �ne wines” and remains so to this day.• Chateau La�te was purchased by Baron James de Rothschild in 1868 and has been known as Chateau La�te Rothschild ever since.• Today, the group’s vocation is to bring out the best of their exceptional vineyards and to look for new ones with high potential in France and other countries such as Argentina and Chile.• A key ingredient of success is the “La�te spirit”, the secret formula for success that they have taken from Bordeaux around the world producing wines with great precision, elegance and �nesse.

Appellation Bordeaux Contrôlée: Lafite Légende

LAFITE Legende Bordeaux Rouge• Grape: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot.• Colour: Intense crimson-purple.• Nose: Subtle and elegant, combining spicy aromas (black pepper) with roasted notes (mocha, toast).• Palate: well-structured, with noticeable tannins, good acidity and a fresh, aromatic �nish (liquorice).

LAFITE Legende Bordeaux Blanc• Grape: 50% Sémillon, 50% Sauvignon Blanc.• Colour: Bright straw colour with glints of gold.• Nose: Intense and elegant, combining aromas of citrus (lime, grapefruit) and exotic fruit (passion fruit) with mineral notes.• Palate: Very pleasing and voluptuous; lively, fresh �nish with intense fruity aromas.

• Known throughout the world for their prestigious vineyards, the La�te family has also, for some years, produced a range of wines ideal for everyday drinking.• At �rst they were made for close friends and family and to continue this spirit and tradition the “Collection” was created to o�er a range of “initiation” wines to both Bordeaux and La�te.• �e wines are made under the supervision of winemaker Diane Flamand with the same care and attention to detail as La�te gives to its Grand Vins.”• Légend is aiming to make great quality Bordeaux more accessible to consumers in Vietnam and give them a hint of Chataeu La�te.

South West France Collection: Lafite Domaines D'Aussieres

• �e Languedoc – Rousillon area is in the South of France and is an area with great potential for growing grapes.• La�te were one of the pioneers in making wine in this area when Baron Eric de Rothschild bought vineyards in the Languedoc in South West France in 1999. He described this area as a “place of wild, natural beauty, that emanates tremendous power, and whose terroir has exceptional potential”.• �e most famous area is the “Corbieres” Appellation and the biggest city is actually Narbone.• �e main grapes for making the red wines here are Syrah, Mourvedre, Carignan and Grenache.• But La�te has also successfully introduced Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay into this region. �ese wines are fantastic value for money and perfect as pouring wines and for happy hour occasion and parties .

Aussieres Rouge• Grape: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Syrah.• Colour: Dark red with hints of violet.• Nose: Notes of red fruits such as raspberries and strawberries.• Palate: A full-bodied wine but very well balanced, fresh and with quite a nice long �nish.

Aussieres Chardonnay• Colour: Light yellow with hints of pale green.• Nose: Very obvious notes of pineapple, banana and melon.• Palate: Lively and crisp with notes of yellow citrus fruits and 4 months ageing means it has a little more body.

Aussieres Rose• Grape: 50% Cinsault, 10% Grenache Noir, 20% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre.• Colour: Lively pink.• Nose:Lychees and raspberries with some plum fruit.• Palate: Good texture and full in the mouth with a slightly dry �avor, especially with Asian food.

Chilean Collection: Lafite Los Vascos

• Los Vascos name means “�e Basques” – who le� from France and Spain to settle in Chile.• La�te were amongst the �rst company to make wine in Chile 1988 and start to develop the Chilean wine industry.• La�te own some of the best vineyards in the 2 most famous areas for vineyards - Colchagua and Casablanca.

Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon• Grape: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.• Colour: Bright ruby red.• Nose: Fresh red fruit, cherries, strawberries.• Palate: Powerful and fruity with touch mint long �nish.

Los Vascos Chardonnay• Grape: 100% Chardonnay.• Colour: Beautiful yellow bright colour.• Nose: Really fresh, yellow fruit.• Palate: banana, pineapple, melon, grape fruit,crème.

Los Vascos Sauvignon Blanc• Grape 100% Sauvignon Blanc.• Colour: Green and fresh.• Nose: Green fruit and freshly cut-grass.• Palate: Green food, pear, apple, lychee, Chive asparagus, incredibly fresh.

Los Vascos Grand Reserve• Grape: 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Carmenère, 10% Syrah, 5% Malbec.• Colour: Deep ruby red.• Nose: Fresh red fruit, plums, cherry, vanilla spice.• Palate: Rich red fruit, mocha, pepper and long �nish.

Argentinean Collection: The Catena / Lafite Rothschild CARO Winery

Catena/Rothschild Aruma – 100% Malbec• Grape: 100% Malbec.• Colour: Bright violet colouring.• Nose: Seductive nose of spiced plums, strawberries and violets.• Palate: Very intense and rich with smoky hints with silky long �nish.

• Bodegas CARO is a beautiful collaboration between the most famous family from Bordeaux – La�te Rothschild – and also the top producer in Argentina – Nicholas Catena.• It is also a celebration of two wines cultures with the noble grapes of each culture, the Cabernet Sauvignon from Bordeaux and the Malbec form Mendoza coming into harmonious balance.• Expectations were always going to be very high and fortunately the wines live up to the hype and o�er great value for money too.• �e winery has been producing wines since 2003 and has now launched a single varietal Malbec – Aruma for everyday drinkers.• �e �agship wines are the CARO and Amancaya, delicious blends of Malbec and Cabernet with the CARO in particular bene�ting from critical acclaim and with an annual production of only 5,000 cases, is under strict allocation.• �ese wines consistently win a stunning range of medals and receive great article acclaim from writer such as James Suckling.

Catena/ Rothschild CARO -“Grand Vin” • Grape: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Malbec.• Colour: Dark intense colour with hints of violet and ruby.• Nose: Incredible aromas of spice, cedar, walnut and dark berry.• Palate: Full body, ultra-�ne tannins and a racy and re�ned �nish. Fresh and succulent. Such �nesse. Half the normal production.

Catena/ Rothschild Amancaya "Gran Reserva"• Grape: 65% Malbec, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon.• Colour: Deep crimson.• Nose: Raspberry and pepper spice.• Palate: Superb balance with hints of chocolate and spice with so� velvety tannins and a smooth long �nish.

Champagne Barons de Rothschild Brut• Appearance: �e wine’s brilliance and clarity show pale golden highlights, combined with very �ne bubbles that carry an abundant, persistent foam• Aroma: �is exceptionally �ne cuvée exudes aromas of pear and nuts. (almonds, fresh halzenuts) that marry with hints of white �owers and faint toasty notes.• Palate: A strong, assertive opening that leads into a well-rounded wine that is powerful yet contained; the sign of long aging in traditional cellars.

Champagne Barons de Rothschild Blanc De Blancs• Appearance: �e Blanc de Blancs displays a crystalline golden-yellow colour that produces a �ne foam and a continuous thread of delicate bubbles.• Aroma: Chardonnay stands out in this cuvée, which o�ers rare levels of purity and intensity. �e nose is dominated by citrus, which blends with the aromatic hints of fresh almonds and dried fruit.• Palate: �e �rst impression is clean and precise, followed by a silky freshness kept alo� by citrus and white fruit notes. �e creamy sensation of its �ne, chiselled bubbles is paired with a persistent, distinguished mineral so�ness.

Champagne Barons de Rothschild Rose• Appearance: �is Rosé’s �ne thread of bubbles ends in a thin, enduring foam, and its light colour o�ers the slight shimmer of salmon pink.• Aroma: It features �ne, subtle aromas, reminiscent of spring, alongside the fragrance of rose petal, wild strawberry, and a hint of citrus zest.• Palate: �e �rst taste is fresh and precise, melting into the palate like silk, with slight raspberry undertones. �is wine is long, balanced and full of delicious body.
