2.)ALL GAS ISLAND INSTALLATION WILL COMPLY WITH SECTION 1211.3 OF THE PLUMBING.

3.)FAU INSTALLATION WILL COMPLY WITH UMC'S SECTION'S 304.5 AND 707.1

4.)PROVIDE COMBUSTION AIR FOR WATER HEATER AND FAU LOCATED WITHIN 12" OF TOP AND BOTTOM OF COMPARTMENT.

5.) ALL HVAC DUCTS, PLUMBING DROPS TO BE MIN. 2' AWAY FROM ALL STEEL & WOOD BEAM CONNECTIONS.

6) PROVIDE AN ALARM FOR DOORS TO THE DWELLING THAT FORM A PART OF THE POOL ENCLOSURE. ALL ALARM SHALL SOUND CONTINIUOUSLY FOR A MIN. OF 30 SECONDS WHEN THE DOOR IS OPENED, IT SHALL AUTOMATICLLY RESET AND BE EQUIPED WITH A MANUAL MEANS TO DEACTIVATE (FOR 15 SECS. MAX) FOR A SINGLE OPENING. THE DEACTIVATION SWITCH SHALL BE ATLEAST 54" ABOVE THE FLOOR. RGA 14-67

7.) WATER HEATER MUST BE STRAPPED IN AT LEAST TWO LOCATIONS, ONE BEING IN THE UPPER ONE-THIRD OF THE UNIT, AND THE OTHER IN THE LOWER ONE -THIRD. THE LOWER STRAP MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 4" ABOVE THE WATER HEATER CONTROL UNIT. THE REQUIRED CLEARANCES FROM WALL TO HEATER AS STATED ON THE UNIT NAMEPLATE IS CRITICAL. LAG SCREW NOT LESS THAN 1/4" IN DIAMETER MUST BE USED TO ANCHOR THE RESTRAINTS TO THE WALL, AND EACH LAG SCREW MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1-1/2" THREAD PENETRATION INTO WALL STUD. A LARGE FLAT WASHER MUST BE INSTALLED BETWEEN EACH LAG SCREW AND THE STRAP FOR REINFORMENT. PERFORATED IRON STRAP WILL NOT BE AN ACCEPTABLE METHOD FOR STRAPPING WATER HEATERS OVER 40 GALLONS.
