Mr. Alvaro Cifuentes Gomez is a dynamic banking and portfolio management professional with experience in, management of, varying types of funds that include traditional investment funds, mixed funds, and pension funds, as well as senior portfolio management and responsibility for the related equity funds, where he looks for European-centric value and growth companies where he takes a bottom-up and top-down approach while also factoring in the companies with the best technical and fundamental analysis. Mr. Gomez is currently managing two global funds (Bankia Bolsa Mundial and Bankia Pensiones XVII) and two European Funds (Bankia Euro Top Ideas and The Bankia Bolsa, USA), which he co-manages with Victor Santiago. Prior, Mr. Gomez worked for Caja Madrid, Spain’s oldest savings bank, ca. 1702 as well as Lomar-Zamosa, S.A. Mr. Gomez is fluent in two languages: English and Portuguese.
Mr. Nuno Luis Duarte dos Santos Rico is a senior project manager and consultant for Bauhaus ArtiTech, Netherlands, where he’s responsible for the coordinated management of numerous related and cross domain projects for business, IT, and other organizational objectives in banking, trade, and transport. Recently, he managed business critical data systems and security within international banking, credit card, payments, and retail systems projects for International Cards Systems (later rebranded Visa/MasterCard) and Ahold Group (a multinational retail organization) in excess of a combined five million euros across nearly five million customers in Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Argentina, India, United States, and Czech Republic. In the ten years prior, Mr. Rico was a senior project and change management principal with ING where he managed teams across sixty countries and provided for integrated management of commercial development, maintenance, and implementation of IT systems for business units within mortgages, payments, partner channels, retail office departments, as well as legal, compliance, and financial aspects of the organization. Additionally, Mr. Rico has consulted for Post Bank and Logica, internationally. He is a PRINCE 2 practitioner, a lean six sigma black belt, and an agile project management practitioner (Atern/DSDM). Mr. Rico is fluent in five languages: English, Spanish, Dutch, French, and Portuguese.
Mr. Diday is the co-founder of JrPixels, a fully integrated creative-first digital strategy agency. Notable past clients, include: Oakley, Net Applications, Tweak Software, Tridonic, IBM, National Geographic, Virgin Records, Sonim Technologies, Chumba Cycles, U.S. Navy, Spike TV, Autodesk, Fox Sports, and other mass-market brands. He brings twenty years of diversified entrepreneurial corporate strategy, business development, marketing, sales, investor relations, and operations experience with high-growth and start-up companies. Recently, Mr. Diday served as the Advising-VP Strategy and Market Development at Gabriel Marketing Group, a full service, fully integrated, marketing and public relations firm in the Washington, D.C. Metro area. Prior, Mr. Diday was busy working as an advising partner M2 Capital Advisors, a Minnesota based capital formation advisory firm, as well as C.O.O. at Klickthru, a California based advertising technology firm that monetized content with a platform of proprietary products leveraged across a network of over one billion mobile devices. Earlier in his career, Mr. Diday was a Regional Manager with the nationally acclaimed IT consultancy, Geeks On Call America, Inc., where he held oversight for the build-out, sales, marketing, operations, training, and compliance for more than ninety-two franchises nationally. During his tenure the company was recognized over multiple years as one of the fastest growing small private businesses in the United States by Inc. 500 and Entrepreneur Magazines. Mr. Diday has contributed to national media outlets such as NASDAQ OMX Group, NYSE AMEX, CNBC, The New York Daily News, The Los Angeles Times, The Los Angeles Business Journal, and The Washington Times.
