Staples Center is a large

multi-purpose sports

arena in Downtown

Los Angeles. Opening on

October 17, 1999, it is

one of the major sporting

facilities in the

Greater Los Angeles Area.

The arena is home to the

Los Angeles Lakers and

the Los Angeles Clippers

of the National Basketball

Association (NBA), the

Los Angeles Kings of the

National Hockey League

and the Los Angeles

Sparks of the Women's

National Basketball

Association(WNBA).

Ticket prices vary so much here. Some tickets are as low as $20, some are as

high as $10,000. Staples Center is also host to over 250 events and nearly

4,000,000 guests a year. The arena seats up to 19,060 for basketball.
