Philosophy

The true beauty of any design feature is not bound in floors, walls and ceilings, not even recognized in their materials, textures and colors. True beauty is complete by the existence of the human Self in the place. This is the essence of Self Design Studio.

I’m an architect with 12 years of experience in both architecture and interior design. In this role I lead the project , complete assigned tasks in coordination with clients, sub-consultants, office staff, authorities, contractors and vendors. The most exciting work to date was creating a portfolio of architectural and interior design projects ranging in scale and typologies. Not only did I have fun , but also I found it rewarding to see the results. Before, I worked for two architectural firms — AlNasser & Partners ; and Symbiosis – and was lucky enough to work on important projects, e.g. Al Baraka Mall, Al Quds College. I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with other architects, firms and clients. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favorite stage of a project is working with the client or business unit leader to understand their objectives. As I go through that collaborative process, the ideas start to flow and that’s always the fun part. I have a Bachelor degree in Architecture from Jordan University of Science and Technology and Diploma in 3D Animation from SAE Institute. Colleagues, clients and friends know me as a highly creative architect who can always be trusted to come up with a new approach and solutions. I spend a lot of time in learning, and focus on rapid adoption of BIM. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others.
