It was conceptualised to be a City Within a City to house the galore of requirements that comes about with such a vision.
The form takes an all embracing form to take advantage of the views of the KLCC Park and Petronas.
Design Studio VIIReview 1 Structural geometryHyparwave
With the Geometrica system, you can extend structures and capture space in many ways, including double curvature in opposite directions.
3D Lattice
For surfaces with zero or only one direction of curvature, a deeper Geometrica 3-D lattice provides strength and rigidity, distributing loads evenly and efficiently with much less weight than a conventional two-dimensional frame. Shapes include flat and single curvature.

Design Studio VIIReview 1 Standing seam profilesIt offers thermal and acoustic insulation, and light weight with superior durability whilst retaining a harmonious combination of shapes, color and surfaces combining with other building materials to create astounding and inspiring buildings. With its variety of width, tapering and curving capabilities, the standing seam known for its versatility to adapt to buildings of any geometry or shape
Design Studio VIIReview 1 CROSS BRACING
It is asystem utilized to reinforcestructures in which diagonal supports intersect. Usually seen with two diagonal supports placed in an X shaped manner; these support compression andtension forces. Depending on the forces, onebrace may be in tension while the other is slack. Here aluminium cross bracing is being used.

Design Studio VIIReview 1 Operable wall systems
A system composed of large panels which are hung from a ceiling track or a floor track, permitting the panels to be moved easily from their closed position (in which the panels form a partition) to an open position (in which the panels are stacked against each other)
Thus, spaces can be configured in accordance with changing demands and prevailing functional requirements, giving more flexibility in every-day usage.

ChallengesThe challenges presented by the centre areThe operable wall panels being huge requires immense labour and damage the carpets
Carpets used for flooring are prone to accumulation of dust and are difficult to clean when spilled with food in the food courts.
The plenary hall with executive suites and service rooms open up to the same lobby making the VVIP personels to get glance of the service areas.
The control rooms for the banquet halls, ballrooms are located on the upper floors, instead of being adjoining causing access problems in peak times.Design Studio VIIReview 1
