Our products are completely made in Italy. In our factory our technical and production facilities are directly managed by us and every step is fully executed by our staff. All the cabins and the technology expected within a Spa are made and assembled by us, then they are packed and shipped to the construction site allowing greater speed and precision during the assembling phase.

CALOREHEAT

SAUNEIl termine Sauna è un’antica parola finlandese che si riferisce al classico “bagno al vapore” ed in particolare al luogo destinato a tale bagno. In tempi antichi si trattava di piccole costruzioni di legno solitamente collocate in riva ad un lago. Il calore veniva generato da fuochi a legna e gettando dell’acqua su pietre riscaldate. Da migliaia di anni i popoli nordici avevano scoperto i diversi benefici che questo tipo di trattamento apportava al corpo.

Nel corso degli anni la tecnologia ha permesso il perfezionamento di questa pratica ma i principi rimangono gli stessi. L’uso del legno e di temperature molto elevate sono le caratteristiche che contraddistinguono le saune, e che rimangono anche in quelle moderne.

In particolare Space O è in grado di rispondere ad ogni richiesta e di realizzare saune su misura. Le essenze del legno usate nelle nostre saune vengono da noi selezionate per ogni tipo di esigenza estetica, ma il legno non è l’unico elemento che costituisce le nostre saune. Il nostro team tecnico è sempre alla ricerca di materiali innovativi che possono integrarsi sia dal punto di vista estetico che da quello strutturale. Le atmosfere create all’interno delle nostre saune si ottengono combinando luce, legno, vetro e altri elementi i quali formano degli ambienti unici ed emozionanti.

SAUNASSauna is an old Finnish word that refers to the classic “steam bath” and to the place intended to such a bath. In ancient times they were small wooden constructions usually located on a lakeshore.The heat was generated by wooden fires and by throwing water on hot stones. From thousands of years the Nordic People discovered all the benefits that this treatment can give.

Over the years technology allowed this practice to improve but the basic principals remain the same. The use of wood and very high temperatures are the characteristics that identify saunas, and that are still used in the modern ones.

Space O can meet any request and realize custom made saunas. The wooden essences of our saunas are chosen by us to meet any aesthetic demand, but wood is not the only element that form our saunas. Our technical team is always researching new materials that can integrate with each other from an aesthetic point of view but also from a structural one. The atmospheres created within our saunas combine light, wood, glass and other elements that form a unique and emotional environment.

-Sauna Finlandese conosciuta anche come “sauna secca” è la sauna nella sua forma più tradizionale. La temperatura è contenuta tra gli 80-100°C, mentre l’umidità è compresa tra il10-20%. Il vapore si ottiene versando acqua sopra delle pietre appoggiate ad una stufa e riscaldate elettricamente da resistenze o dal fuoco. Mescolando varie essenze aromatiche all’acqua si può ottenere una maggiore sensazione di benessere.

-Sauna a Raggi Infrarossi in questa sauna il calore non viene generato dal vapore, stufe a legna o a resistenze, ma da raggi infrarossi che vengono assorbiti dalla pelle creando così la percezione del calore all’interno del corpo. La struttura rimane uguale a quella della sauna tradizionale, o finlandese, la differenza consiste unicamente nelle diverse fonti di calore.

-Biosauna nella biosauna la temperatura non va oltre i 50°C, mentre l’umidità è del 50%. Spesso in questo tipo di sauna il vapore si genera attraverso erbe essiccate inumidite, in modo simile al bagno di fieno.

-Finnish Sauna also known as “dry sauna” is the traditional form of Sauna. The temperature is kept between 80°-100°C, while the humidity is between 10-20%. Steam is obtained by throwing water on some stones carefully positioned on a stove and heated through electricity or by fire. By adding different aromatic essences to the water you can further improve the comfort.

-Infrared Sauna in this sauna the heat is not generated by steam, wooden stoves or electricity but from infrared light that gets absorbed by the skin and causes the heat sensation on the body. The structure remains the same as in the traditional, or finnish sauna, the only distinction is the different source of heat.

-Biosauna in the biosauna the temperature doesn’t go over 50°C, while humidity stays at 50%. Usually in this type of sauna the steam is generated by dried herbs dampen, as in the hay bath.

VAPORESTEAM

BAGNI TURCHI L’origine del Bagno Turco deriva dalla tradizione orientale di fare bagni al vapore avendo come fine la pulizia del corpo e dello spirito.

Gli effetti benefici del vapore erano stati scoperti dagli antichi egizi e in seguito da greci e romani. Quest’ultimi sfruttarono il vapore per creare delle aree comuni destinate al benessere, conosciute come terme. La struttura era suddivisa in quattro parti: vi era una stanza destinata ai bagni in acqua tiepida (tiepidarium), una dedicata ai bagni in acqua calda (calidarium), una finale con aria secca ad alta temperatura (laconium) e infine la piscina con acqua fredda (frigidarium).

Dopo la caduta dell’impero romano, l’uso dei bagni al vapore è stato ripreso dalla tradizione araba. Il termine che venne usato per definirli è hammam, da “hamma” scaldare. L’hammam, diversamente dalle terme romane, è costituito da tre sale che creano un percorso destinato al benessere, partendo da un locale molto caldo, passando per uno tiepido e terminando in un ultimo fresco.

A differenza della sauna dove la temperatura è solitamente compresa fra gli 80°C ed i 100°C, ma il caldo rimane un caldo secco, nel bagno turco le temperature sono comprese tra i 40°C ed i 60°C mentre l’umidità varia dal 90% al 100%.

STEAM ROOMSThe Steam Room originates from the eastern tradition of taking baths in steam with the purpose of cleaning body and soul.

The beneficial aspects of steam were discovered by the Ancient Egyptians and then by the Greeks and the Romans. The latter took advantage of steam to create wellness areas, known as thermal baths. Their structure was divided in four parts: there was a room designed for lukewarm baths (tiepidarium), one for hot baths (calidarium), then a dry one with very high temperature (laconium) and lastly the swimming pool with cold water (frigidarium).

After the fall of the Roman Empire, the use of steam rooms was resumed by the Arabic tradition. The term used to define them is hamman, from “hamma” to heat up. The hammam, unlike the thermal baths, is divided in three parts that generate a wellness path, starting from a very hot room, through a lukewarm one and ending in a cold one.

Unlike the sauna where the temperature is usually between 80°-100°C, but the heat is a dry heat, in the steam room the temperatures are kept between 40°C to 60°C, while humidity is at 90-100%.

Oltre a produrre bagni turchi e hammam in maniera standard, siamo in grado di conformarli a qualsiasi spazio, mantenendo un’altissima qualità di prodotto e costi contenuti. L’illuminazione dei bagni turchi è studiata per garantire il massimo livello di comfort e benessere grazie all’applicazione della cromoterapia.

Ogni bagno turco può essere completato da moltissimi optional: cieli stellati, illuminazione a fibre ottiche, docce emozionali, sedute riscaldate, fontane rinfrescanti, lettini trattamento, musicoterapia, aromaterapia e tanti altri.

With our experience we can realize steam rooms both from the Roman and the Arabic tradition. Our structures stand out for the different materials that we employ, from mosaic and synthetic resin to the most refined marbles; what distinguishes us is our capacity to design and build custom made structures adaptable to any kind of space or necessity.

In addition to our standard steam rooms or hammam, we can adjust them to any space, maintain a very high quality of product and a reasonable price. The lighting system of our steam rooms is thought to give the best kind of comfort and wellness thanks to the application of chromotherapy.

Every steam room can be completed with a various amount of optional such as: starry skies, fiber optics illumination, emotionalshowers, heated seats, refreshing fountains, massage tables, musictherapy, aromatherapy and many others.

ACQUAWATER

SWIMMING POOLSFor thousands of years the link between water and man is associated with wellness. Swimming Pools play a key role in modern Spas, and to integrate a pool inside its space is very important.

We can make public or private swimming pools, from the more classical forms to the most spectacular ones, we can meet any request of dimensions, materials and accessories. We design custom made swimming pools, with overflow or skimmer system, and with different types of filtration system: sand, salt, UV filter or natural.

Water fountains can be used to design a special swimming pool giving it a unique functional and aesthetic aspect. Fountains allow you to create vascular treatments, water jets plates, upstream swimming and other combinations that have psychophysical wellness as a goal. The finishing materials can be chosen from a vast array: tile, mosaic or pvc upholstery, different lighting systems and the most various lighting sources underwater.

PISCINEDa migliaia di anni il legame tra acqua e uomo è associato al benessere. Il ruolo che le Piscine ricoprono nei centri benessere moderni è di fondamentale importanza e altrettanto importante è inserirla in maniera ottimale all’interno dello spazio in cui viene ideata.

Realizziamo piscine sia pubbliche che private, dalle forme più classiche a quelle più spettacolarizzate, inoltre siamo in grado di soddisfare ogni richiesta di forma, dimensioni, materiali ed accessori progettando piscine su misura, con tecnologia di compensazione dell’acqua a skimmer o a sfioro, e con filtrazione a sabbia, sale, raggi ultravioletti o naturale.

L’uso di giochi d’acqua può rendere una piscina speciale, dal punto di vista funzionale oltre che da quello estetico. Essi permettono di creare percorsi vascolari, piastre effervescenti, nuoto controcorrente e altre combinazioni che hanno come fine il benessere psicofisico. Le rifiniture possono essere di vario tipo: dai rivestimenti in piastrelle, mosaico o telo, ai diversi tipi di illuminazione per i più svariati giochi di luce all’interno dell’acqua.

VASCHE IDROMASSAGGIOIl termine Idromassaggio è composto da idro [dal greco “acqua”] e da massagge [dal francese “massaggio”] indica la masso-idroterapia. L’uso dell’acqua con finalità terapeutiche è uno dei più antichi provvedimenti di cura in uso nella società.

La vasca idromassaggio prende la sua ispirazione dalle antiche tradizioni delle terme romane, essa è una delle forme idroterapeutiche più conosciute ed usate. Le proprietà naturali dell’acqua in combinazione con la pressione esercitata e la temperatura elevata apportano diversi effetti benefici al corpo.

Le vasche idromassaggio possono essere prefabbricate o costruite su misura con struttura autoportante e possibilità di rifinitura a mosaico o piastrella, e possono essere collegate ad un sistema di filtrazione che consente un risparmio dell’acqua utilizzata.

Normalmente l’acqua della vasca idromassaggio viene riscaldata tramite scambiatore di calore per mantenere una temperatura costante di 35°C, così da permettere un perfetto connubio tra la temperatura corporea e quella dell’acqua. Il massaggio si può ottenere attraverso due tipi di getti: air-pool (ad aria) o idro-jet (ad acqua).

HOT TUBSHot Tubs are related to massage-hydrotherapy. The use of water with therapeutic purposes is one of the most ancient cure technique used in our society.

The hot tub draws its origin from the ancient tradition of the thermal baths, and it is one of the most known and used forms of hydrotherapy. The natural qualities of water combined with the pressure used and the high temperature bring various benefits to the body.

Hot tubs can be prebuilt or custom made with a self-support structure and the possibility of tile or mosaic upholstery. The tubs can be connected to a filtering system that saves the amount of water used.

Usually in the hot tub the water is warmed by a heat exchanger that maintains a stable temperature of 35°C, which creates a perfect bond between the temperature of the body and the water. The massage can be obtained with two types of jets: air-pool (using air) or hydro-jet (using water).

PERCORSI KNEIPPIl Percorso Kneipp prende il nome dall’abate tedesco Sebastian Kneipp, il quale conducendo una serie di esperimenti dove si immergeva per pochi secondi nelle acque del Danubio, era riuscito a guarire dalla tubercolosi. Kneipp aveva scoperto che l’alternanza del contatto tra caldo e freddo era in grado di apportare benefici al sistema immunitario e a quello circolatorio.

Oggi i percorsi Kneipp si praticano camminando in speciali vasche con un pavimento di sassi levigati, riempite fino ad altezza ginocchio, oppure fino alle caviglie, all’interno delle quali viene erogata alternativamente acqua a temperatura calda e fredda attraverso getti oppure attraverso il riempimento delle singole vasche. In questo modo si apportano benefici al sistema circolatorio.

I percorsi Kneipp possono essere prefabbricati o costruiti su misura con strutture autoportanti e possibilità di rifinitura a mosaico o piastrella, e possono essere collegati ad un sistema di filtrazione che consente un risparmio dell’acqua utilizzata.

KNEIPP TREATMENTS The Kneipp Treatment takes its name from the German priest Sebastian Kneipp who led a series of experiments, where he bathe himself for a few seconds in the waters of the Danube, healing himself from tuberculosis. Kneipp discovered that a succession of hot and cold water can generate benefits to the immune and circulatory system.

Today Kneipp treatments are carried out by walking in special tanks that have a floor of smooth stones, filled with water up to the knees or to the ankles and where hot and cold water is sprayed through jets or is used to fill the singular tanks. In this way there can be a lot of advantages for the circulatory system.

Kneipp treatments can be prebuilt or custom made with a self-support structure and the possibility of tile or mosaic upholstery, and they can be connected to a filtering system that saves the amount of water used.

DOCCE EMOZIONALICromoterapia, aromaterapia e musicoterapia quando associate ad una cascata d’acqua che cambia ritmo ed intensità contribuiscono ad un esperienza sensoriale rigenerante.

Le Docce Emozionali non possono mancare in un centro benessere. Esse possono essere strutturate come singola cabina di varie forme o come percorso emozionale, attraverso il quale si possono sperimentare diversi getti d’acqua come nebbia fredda, pioggia tropicale, idrogetti verticali, cascate d’acqua, secchio scozzese e altro. Con un sistema di controllo centralizzato si possono sincronizzare perfettamente acqua, colori, suoni ed aromi in modo da ottenere il massimo del relax e stimolando chi la usa ad eliminare lo stress accumulato nel corso della giornata.

Le strutture per docce emozionali possono essere prefabbricate o costruite su misura con struttura autoportante e possibilità di rifinitura a mosaico o piastrella. Possono essere interamente abbinate al percorso Kneipp, pioggia tropicale, nebbia fredda, doccia scozzese e doccia classica, il tutto inserito all’interno di un percorso chiamato Shower Paradise.

EMOTIONAL SHOWERSChromotherapy, aromatherapy and musictherapy associated with a water jet that changes rhythm and intensity can create a sensory regenerating experience.

Emotional Showers cannot be missing in a modern Spa. They can be structured as a single cabin of different sizes or as an emotional path, through which you can experiment different kinds of water jets such as cold mist, tropical shower, vertical hydro-jets, water fountains, Scottish shower bucket and others.With a central control system you can synchronize perfectly water, colours, sounds and fragrances to obtain the maximum amount of relax stimulating the user to eliminate the stress gathered during the day.

The structures for emotional showers can be prebuilt or custom made with a self-support structure and the possibility of tile or mosaic upholstery. They can be entirely combined to Kneipp treatment, tropical shower, cold mist, scottish shower and traditional shower, all in a path called Shower Paradise.
