Summery The aim of this research is to recognize the level of approval of total quality criteria in education by teachers in Al- Hassa municipality in terms of :

    - the factors which encourage teachers to accept the total quality criteria.

    - The obstacles which limit teachers approval of total quality criteria. - The suggestions which increase the possibility of teachers acceptance

to total quality criteria. As long as the awareness to what extent teachers accept these criteria in education is very essential , it is hard to achieve the success without knowing the degree of teachers approval as people as the most important people who are in charge to run the educational process . This study ended came out with the following conclusions: 1-The criteria of total quality were highly accepted by teachers especially those which concern teachers directly. 2- The criteria of providing the proper learning environment got the highest degree of approval in comparison with other kinds of total quality criteria. 3- There are no differences with statistical evidence among teachers regarding their acceptance of total quality criteria in all study variables like : their academic qualifications , their teaching experience , the grade level they teach, except the nationality variable. There were differences with statistical evidence in favor of non Saudi teachers. That means a lot of care must be dedicated to very well prepare Saudi teachers. 4- All variables, which encourage teachers to accept the total quality criteria, were accepted by a wide range of teachers in Al-Hassa municipality, especially the caring about human side criteria, which got the highest level of average according to the study members point of view. 5- From ten to twenty of the obstacles, which limit the approval of total quality criteria by teachers, were highly accepted by, them while two of them got the highest score, they were the weakness of rewarding and reinforcement strategies and the densely populated classrooms.
