Сегодня мы с Толей празднуем 60 лет нашей совместной жизни, аведь на самом деле это все 75. Именно тогда мы встретились в школе.Не знаю, как долго мы не обращали бы друг на друга внимания, еслибы не учительница, которая посадила нас за одну парту. Он вёл себя науроках плохо, крутился и болтал с таким же недисциплинированныммальчишкой, как и он, и в тетрадках у него всегда были грязь и кляксы.Я же была хорошей девочкой: училась прекрасно, всё у меня быловсегда в порядке и сидела на одной из первых парт. Вот она и решила,что, если посадит нас вместе, то я буду благотворно на него влиять.Так я и стараюсь всю жизнь. Вам со стороны виднее, увенчались лиуспехом мои старания.

Today we celebrate 60 years of our life together, but it was actually morelike 75 years instead. That’s how long ago we first met in elementary school.I don’t know how long we would not have noticed each other if our teacherhad not made us share a desk. Tolya’s behavior at school was pretty bad, hefidgeted and talked to another misbehaved boy all the time, his schoolworkwas always messy. Unlike him, I was a very good student: my work wasalways done impeccably plus and I occupied the desk in front of the class.For these reasons our teacher decided that if we share a desk I would be agood influence on Tolya. So, to this day I am still working on it. You can seeif my efforts actually succeeded.
