Th i s p a p e r gives t he r e s u l t s of a n i n v e s t i g a t i o n in to t h i s p h e n o m e n o n on 45 diffe- r e n t spec imens . The a p p a r a t u s was c a p a b l e of recerdiI~g d i s c o n t i n u i t i e s 4 �9 10 -6 cgs a n d h igher . M e a s u r e m e n t w as conf ined to v i s u a l o b s e r v a t i o n on t h e osci l loscope of t he changes in m a g n e t i z a t i o n for one b r a n c h of t h e hys t e r e s i s loop. B y d i rec t o b s e r v a t i o n of t h e fo rm of t h e electr ic pulses i t was poss ib le to d i s t i n g u i s h be tween effects of the a p p a r a t u s a n d t h e BD . The r a t e of change of t h e m a g n e t i c f ie ld was v a r i e d accord ing t o need w i t h i n t h e l i m i t s f rom 0.003 Oe/see to 0 . 4 0 e / s e e so t h a t no n e g a t i v e pulses if p r e sen t cou ld poss ib ly be obscu red b y pos i t ive pulses. W i t h some samples p h o t o g r a p h s were t a k e n (Fig. I) a t va r i ous p o i n t s of t h e loop.
