    FACILITY FOR STUDY PAIN SENSITIVITY OF LAND SNAILS

    A devise has been constructed that allows for testing of several parameters of pain sensitivity in molluscs. A special feature of this devise is a hot plate made of glass covered with a thin layer of titanium nitride. This feature allows for slow changes in the plate temperature and determines the threshold of pain reaction.
