Mortality rates are higher for the poor than for the rich at all ages, and that the differential is particularly high during infancy and childhood. From 0 to 4 years, mortality is nine times higher for the poor than for the rich 5 to 14 it is ten times higher15-29 age group the differential is 3.970 or over -it falls gradually until it reaches 1.4

孩童們流落到街頭缺乏食物或庇護所而死亡營養失調致病無法尋找更好生存方式普遍存在於拉丁美洲、亞洲、和非洲貧窮國家全世界有 1 億個孩童流落在街頭世界上有 12 億人們生活在貧困中，其中孩童們就超過了 6 億。


為求生存 , 街童們可能從事偷竊和賣淫的行為沈溺於吸食強力膠每天有 8,500 個孩子感染愛滋病世界上有超過 300,000 個童兵。 In order to survive, street children Resort to petty theft and prostitution. addicted to inhalants 8,500 children become infected with HIV every day, over 300,000 child soldiers around the world.
