劉卓威 Jacky Lau

Jacky為香港首屈一指之 Fingerstyle結他演奏

家，曾與多位藝人及樂手合作演出，包括劉德華、

周柏豪及日本結他大師 Massaki Kishibe 等。曾應

邀代表香港參與 2011 國際指彈結他藝術節(IFSGF)，

成為全球僅 15 名獲邀之演奏家之一。Jacky 現任

Guitar Concept 總監，於 2012 年出版第二張個人

專輯 Move On。

Jacky is a well-know Fingerstyle guitarist in Hong

Kong and worked with a number of artists

including Andy Lau, Pakho Chau, Masaaki Kishibe

(Famous Japanese artist) etc. Moreover, Jacky

was invited by International Fingerstyle Guitar

Festival as one of the fifthteen world-class

performers. Jacky is now the director of Guitar

Concept, and has released his 2nd album “Move

On” in 2012.

Jacky 劉卓威畢業於香港演藝學院，主修結他演奏，於 07 年，出版了本港首張結

他獨奏的聖詩專輯《Amazing Guitar．Amazing Grace》，其精湛的編曲技巧及琴藝，

獲得各界之一致讚賞。其後獲香港演藝學院、香港中文大學、香港理工大學及香

港國際音樂學校等學府之邀請，於大學內演出及教授音樂課程。更擔任音樂事務

處之客席講師，為本地中小學音樂教師主講培訓講座。

Jacky 一直積極參與編曲及演出工作，曾應邀到國內外主要城市演出及錄音，近

年合作演出之藝人包括劉德華、周柏豪、區瑞強及日本著名演奏家 Masaaki

Kishibe、Masa Sumide 等。11 年，Jacky 更獲 International Fingerstyle Guitar Festival

邀請，成為全球僅十五名應邀之結他演奏家之一，代表香港，與來自各國之頂尖

演奏家，包括 Alex de Grassi(美國)、Sungha Jung(韓國)及 Vitale Makukin(烏克蘭)

等同台參與演出。

2012 年，Jacky 成為首位與國際知名唱片監製 Kim Person 合作的華人，於美國製

作 Fingerstyle 結他大碟《Move On》，在香港出版後，迅即擠身 HMV 最受歡迎之

十大唱片，與及HK Record之銷量排行榜三甲之位；權威音響雜誌《Audio Technique》

更這樣形容：「香港終於出現了一位能撩起聽眾心中一團火的結他大師，Jacky Lau

是也。」

With a reputation as a performer of "talented guitarist" (Benedict Cruft, Dean of

Music School, HKAPA) and "the only Guitar Master of Hong Kong" (“Audio Technique”,

Hi-fi Magazine) Jacky Lau 劉卓威 created a successful music career of distinction.

Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Jacky released the

first classical guitar solo album of hymns in Hong Kong in 2007, "Amazing Guitar．

Amazing Grace".

An active performing artist, Jacky was invited to give performances in different cities.

His most recent work includes the composition of "Move On" has also been played in

Shanghai and Beijing. In October last year, Jacky was invited to “International

Fingerstyle Guitar Festival” in honor of Hong Kong represented Artist. Performed

with the 14 guitar masters from various counties over the world included Alex de

Grassi (USA), Sungha Jung (Korea) and Vitale Makukin (Ukraine).

Beside his proficiency in classical music, Jacky was also invited to performs with

famous pop singers such as Andy Lau 劉德華, Pakho Chau 周柏豪, Albert Au 區瑞強

and Adia Chan 陳松齡.

In 2012, Jacky became the first Chinese artist who cooperated with international

famous producer, Kim Person. At the same time, Jacky’s latest Fingerstyle guitar

album “Move On” was produced in US. The album got onto the No.3 of HK Record ’s

CD Top 10 chart after released in Hong Kong. With strong support from the guitar

Masters Tommy Emmanuel and Sungha Jung, the outstanding artistic achievement

was highly recognized by different media and celebrities.

Jacky is the Director of Guitar Concept, Chairman of Fingerstyle Guitar Hong Kong.

He also conducts workshops and giving lecture in Hong Kong International Institute

of Music, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, The Chinese University of Hong

Kong, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and Music Office (Hong Kong

Government).
