1. Wipe clean the surface area to be installed. 2. Remove film from double faced adhesive tape on the

back of the product and after grounding onto the area to be installed, cross the ends.

3. Fasten bolts.

1. 재질의선정 (Selection of Optimum Sheet)

사용조건(내부유체의온도, 부식성, TEST 압력과사용압력, 플렌지의형상, 가스키트의폭)에 적합한재질을선정한다.

Considering working conditions(temperature, corrosiveness, test & working pressure, flange type, gasket width),optimum gasket material should be selected.

2. 가스키트장착시의주의사항 (Precautions in Mounting)

•플렌지면의조도는 25S 이상으로한다.

•The roughness of flange surfaces should be above 25S.•플렌지면에이물질이부착되어있거나플렌지면이훼손되어서는안된다.

•Flange surfaces should be neither contaminated nor damaged.•플렌지면에비틀림이없어야하며평행하고중심이틀어지지않아야한다.

•Flange surfaces should be parallel without deformation and the center should not be deformed.•가스키트는플렌지면을깨끗이한후에정확한위치에장착시켜야한다.

•Keep flange surfaces clean and then mount the gaskets in correct position.•Bolting은 아래와같이순서적으로실시해야한다.

•Tighten the flange bolts in order illusted below.

•소부방지및GAS 누설방지목적으로가스키트에페이스트를도포할때는가능한얇고, 고르게도포를한다.

•When spreading gasket paste for the applications of anti-stick or gas leakage protection, the paste should bespread thinly and uniformly.•운전하기전반드시재조임을실시한다.

3. 보관 (Storage)

•직사광선과산소, 오존 등이닿지않고습기와먼지가없는서늘한장소에보관한다.

•Avoid exposing the gasket sheets to direct sunlight, oxygen, or ozone : store them in a cool, dark and clean place.•보관시에는 시트를 접거나 매달거나 말지를 말고 평행하게 가로로 적재한다. 부득이 말은 제품은 세우지 말고 눕혀서

보관하며권취경은가능한한크게한다.

•Store gasket sheets on a level base in a flat condition without folding, hanging or rolling. If necessary, roll upgasket sheets in diameter as large as possible and place them horizontally without standing vertically.•일부분을사용하고, 남은 제품은폴리에틸렌으로만든포장지에넣어밀봉한다.

•Put the remained gasket sheets in PE packing paper and store them.•선입선출 : 새로들어준것은아랫쪽에적재를하고, 오래된것은위쪽에적재를하여오래된것을먼저사용토록한다.

•First-in & First-out : Pile up old sheets on new sheets and ship out old sheets in advance.

기술자료GLAND PACKING TECHINICAL DATA

1. PACKING 길이 (Length of Packing)

2. PACKING 장착및조정 (Stuffing and Adjustment of Packing)

1) 교환시사용하던 PACKING 전량교환Remove all the old packing from the stuffing box.

2) BOX 내부를깨끗이청소한다.Clean the inside of the stuffing box.

3) 적당한 SEAL 조제를사용한다.Use proper seal compounds.

4) 축의 손상부분을수리한다.Repair the defective part of stem.

5) PACKING 재질및폭을확인Check material and width of packing.

6) 축경과동일한축을이용한필요한길이를절단하며조작순서는다음과같다.Cut the packing into proper length by using the stem with the stem dia.Working procedures are as below.

취급상의주의사항 (Handling Procedure)



7) 최하부의 PACKING은 5~10% (최고 20~30%) 압축하여예압을가한다.For the lowest part of packing, add pre-pressure by 5~10% (Max. 20~30%) compression.

8) 체부압력은유체압력에대하여통상 1.2~1.5배로 한다.Maintain seating pressure 1.2~1.5 times as high as fluid pressure.

9) 충전이완료된후조금조여서 10~20분 방치한후다시풀어서강하게조여준다.After seating, tighten slightly and leave it 10~20 minutes. Unfasten and, then, tighten it strongly again.

10) 무부하운전을시켜발열, 누설 등을 CHECK한 후부하운전토록한다. 부하 운전시축은 1~2시간에정상온도가되도록하여야한다. 그 온도는실온보다 30~40℃가높아도정상으로판단된다.Check heat-generation and leakage during the operation under no loading.And operate with loading. For the load operation, the stem should reach normal temperature in 1~2 hours.The temperature higher than room temperature by 30~40℃ is regarded as normal.

11) 조임 후 PACKING 폭의 1/2 정도의간격을둔다. (1개 추가)After tightening, leave a space of 1/2 packing width. (add 1 more packing)

3. 운전시, 운전중주의사항 (Cautions during Operation)

1) 회전시축의진동은 0.07mm이하로한다.Stem vibration should be below 0.07mm when rotating.

2) 온도 상승이급격할때는조임하중을증가시킨다.Reduce the tightening load when it shows the very sharp increase of temperature.

3) 누설이증가시 BOLT 조임을추가로하여증채는최대 1회전으로하며통상 1/2~1/6회전으로조정한다.Add the bolt tightening when the leakage increases. Maximum bolt tightening should be adjusted by maximum one ratetion, but normally adjusted by 1/2~1/6 rotation.

4) 가동 중누설이없으면축의마찰열의방산이되지않으므로적절한누출량을확보한다.If there is no leakage during operation, maintain the proper leakage volume not to emit the friction heat of stem.

4. 보 관 (Storage)

1) PACKING이 변질되지않도록보관한다.즉, PACKING에는각종윤활유가포함되어있으므로직사광선, 산소, 오존, 고온다습에영향을받지않도록보관한다.Store the packing to be unchanged. Avoid direct rays, oxygen, ozone or high temperature humid surroundings because the packing includes various lubricans.

2) 먼지, 불순물등이물질이묻지않도록한다. (축의 손상요인이크다.)Reduce the tightening load when it shows the very sharp increase of temperature.

3) 해풍에주의해야한다.Avoid the sea wind.
