She was born in Henan on the 2nd of June, 1973. She started playing table tennis when she was only five years old. She practiced playing ping-pong very hard and seriously. She joined the Henan table tennis team at the age of ten. Five years later she joined the national table tennis team. From 1993 to 1998 she kept being the number 1 women’s singles player in the ITTF. She won 4 gold medals in the Olypic Game. In 1997, she left the team, and went to Tsinghua University to study English and management.
A Great Table Tennis Player Deng Yaping , a great Chinese table tennis player, is well-known in the world .
She is my favorite sports star. I think if we do our best, we will be successful like her.
