Pastor’s Message XXI Sunday in Ordinary Time
“Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist , others Elijah, still others
Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, But who do you say that I am?” (Matthew 16:13-15)
The question for the disciples is a question for all of us: Who do we say that Jesus is?
With God’s grace, we will acknowledge him. With God’s
help, we will recognize Jesus. We will take time each day to say hello to him. With God’s grace we will recognize Jesus. We will take time each day to say hello to him. With God’s grace we will be confident in our recognition. We will not say, Well, I think,” or “In my opinion.” Rather, with God’s
grace, we will say, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And in so saying, we will trust him. And through our
own, simple faith. God will be able to do great things. (excerpts from Daily HOMILIES for Sunday and Weekday

I would like to invite those who cannot be with us in the Sunday Eucharistic gatherings because of age and degree of vulnerability to the virus to give a call or leave a message
at the office. I would be happy to come to your home for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Anointing or
Holy Communion. This implies adherence to the protocals of sanitation, face coverings and distancing. My appreciation to those who have already done so! Blessings and all good
things to you and yours!
Oh, the depths of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How inscrutable are his judments and how
unsearchable his ways! (Romans 11:33)
Mensaje del Pastor XXI Domingo del Tiempo Ordinario
¿Quién dice la gente que es el Hijo del Hombre? Ellos
respondieron: "Algunos dicen que Juan el Bautista, otros
que Elías, otros que Jeremías o uno de los profetas". Él les
dijo: Y según ustedes", ¿Quién soy yo?" (Mateo 16: 13-15).
La pregunta para los discípulos es una pregunta para todos:
¿Quién decimos que es Jesús?
Con la gracia de Dios, lo reconoceremos. Con la ayuda de
Dios, reconoceremos a Jesús. Nos tomaremos un tiempo
cada día para saludarlo. Con la gracia de Dios estaremos
seguros de nuestro reconocimiento. No diremos "Bueno,
creo" o "En mi opinión". Más bien, con la gracia de Dios,

decir esto, confiaremos en Él. Y a través de nuestra propia

Me gustaría invitar a aquellos que no pueden estar con
nosotros en las reuniones eucarísticas dominicales debido a
la edad y el grado de vulnerabilidad al virus a que me
llamen o dejen un mensaje en la oficina si se sienten
cómodos para una visita domiciliaria del pastor para los
sacramentos de la Reconciliación, Unción o Comunión. Esto
implica apego a los protocolos de saneamiento, cubrimiento
facial y distanciamiento. ¡Mi agradecimiento a quienes ya lo
han hecho! ¡Bendiciones y todo lo bueno para ti y los tuyos!

MASKS ARE REQUIRED! If a donor does not have a mask we will provide one. If the donor refuses a mask we will not be able to allow them to donate. This is for the safety of our team members and the other donors on the bus.
STRICT SAFETY PROTOCOLS ARE PRACTICED AT EVERY BIG RED BUS BLOOD DRIVE. At eve-ry blood drive and donor center One Blood team members follow safety protocols. One Blood is testing all successful donations for the COVID-19 antibody and that the results should be available within 2-4 days.
WE NEED YOUR HELP/BLOOD!! The corona-virus is heightening the need for a ready blood supply. Your continued support is crucial to help ensure a ready blood supply.

Faith Formation ministry seeks to form our children, youth and adults to be true disciples of Jesus Christ, who through active participation in our
faith community, learn to value all peo-ple as children of God and create a mo-

We will have a Mass at 11:00 AM for all Catechists to thank them for another year
of dedication and prayer for their intentions. Many of our Catechists
will be returning after years of service.
