a. Orientation programmes- a 3 days orientation programme conducted to the newly
admitted students to the different courses of the college to update their knowledge with
regard to higher educations rules and regulations of the college and university.
Prof. Jagadeeshappa H. S. has conducted 3 days orientation programme from 21-07-
2013 to 23-07-2013 at College.
b. On 12-08-2013 Speech compitation conducted on Rajiv Gandhi and his contributions
c. Independence Day:-
On 15-08-2013, the independence day celebrated at the college campus, NSS students
organized “Shramadana” to clean up the campus.
d. On 20-09-2013 Inaguaration of different forums of the college cultural forum, sports
and NSS units inaugural by Sri C.T Ravi, Minister for Higher Education. Government
of Karnataka.
e. 42 Students of our College attended “Vishawa manava Cultural Programme” held
at Mysore. from 30-08-2013 to 31-08-2013.
f. 30 Students participated in Shayadhri Utsava at Kuvempu University from 26-10-
2013 to 28-10-2013
g. From 23-03-2014 to 26-03-2014 Cultural compitation held at our college nearly 350
students participated and 90 students were placed.
h. On 11-04-2014 Validectary Function conducted Dr. Mohana Chandragutthi, of
Shivamogga, addressed our student.
NSS Activities:-
The NSS volunteers belonging to Two NSS Units of the college are very eager to uphold
the importance of service in the society. Thus they involved happily in all the extension
programmes of the college towards the positive growth of the society.
Annual Special camp under the campaign title “Healthy Youth for Healthy India”
was conducted from 13.02.2014 to 20.02.2014 in the village Kuruvangi 5 Kms away
from Chikkamagalur. In the camp many community programmes were conducted by the
students.
A special lecture on importance of Health and Hygiene was delivered by the local
Doctor. Volunteers as well as the villagers were benefited with this programme. The
cultural programmes given by the inmates of the camp were highly entertaining as well
as informative
