ABSTRACT
Our intention is to present a combination of the programs released the last two years in the 6th
Primary School of Kifisia Penelope Delta.
These two programs consist a unity and the second is the continuity of the first.1. School Playground 2003-2004
2. Games in school playground 2004-2005With these programs, in which participated all students and teachers of our school, all cooperated
in the planning and formation of school playground since the particular school operated in 2003-2004 period for the first time.
The first year planting plants and taking care of the garden was our aim so that students came incontact with the natural environment and environmental unities through game.
The second year students performed esthetic interventions on the school playground,
constructed their own toys using waste material. At the end the time and the place of
interval between teaching hours was used as away of diminishing school violence and
racist feelings and improving group spirit. After two years we believe that our main target
has been achieved with success. Everyone interacting in the program (parents, children,
teachers) are attached to the school environment and enjoy living, taking care and preserving what we have and adding new esthetic elements.
