Technical information
2 models for the harshest conditionsSwiss Fresh Water offers two models of water treatment machines, adap-ted to the harshest conditions.
The Delta UF modelEquipped with ultra-filtration membranes (UF), it produces up to 14,000 liters per day of drinking water from very dirty water, such as from lakes and rivers charged with bacteria and virus.
The Delta BW model Equipped with Reverse Osmosis membranes (RO), can produce up to 4,000 liters per day of drinking water from brackish water or polluted wa-ter from wells (<7gr. of salt per liter), fluorinated or charged with arsenic, cyanide or mercury due to mining industry.
WHO standardsThe produced water is certified to meet the WHO standards according to Scitech-Research, a reconized swiss laboratory.
OptionsSFW also offers installation services, technical training courses or kiosks management courses.
To bring together the best tech-nologiesThe table below compares the principal means of water treatment. The concept of SFW is to bring together several complementary technologies with the most relevant partners and to integrate them in the optimum way in a machine, developed and produced in Switzerland, according to rigorous qua-lity criteria.

A proactive maintenance concept, followed on Internet
The helpline: a dedicated team that is in constant contact with machines and people in charge of the main-tenance.
The remote monitoring is based on clear and accurate information through the Internet.
The international assistance also allows to change the pro-gram or to order the machine by SMS
Simple instruction manualsadapted to all
For individual users, each ma-chine comes with a set of re-placement parts for wearing parts, for a production of 1 million liters of drinking water.

The proactive maintenance concept is based on:• A local maintenance and• An international assistance, remotely, to
maximize the production and to ensure the technical sustainability of the machine.
The local maintenance :Each machine component has a determined life-time from 2,000 hours up to 12 years! The maintenance is composed of 3 areas:• Periodical cleaning,• Replacement of wearing parts,• Intervention in case of failure of the ma-
chine.
The international assistance With or without a Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) but there is always assistance. In case of a development program, or a regional distribution, the Regional Maintenance Center is in charge of the maintenance of all machines in the same region. For an individual user, in an area without RMC, the person in charge of the machine receives an appropriate training.
The proactive supportThe RMC or the individual user enjoy a signifi-cant support from SFW: The Proactive Support Package. They receive by SMS, Email or WhatsApp, all necessary instructions to optimize the mainte-nance. These instructions are supplemented by videos, checklists and a priority helpline.
The Proactive Support Package includes:• Telemetry with GSM connection,• A weekly or monthly report,• Maintenance procedures, videos, etc.• Suitable maintenance proposals sent proac-
tively (Push),• The interventions management optimised in
the same region,• A priority helpline,• The guarantee that spare parts are available,
and, on the best terms.
Guarantee:The machines are guaranteed two years, except wearing parts.

Swiss Fresh WaterSFW is a limited company, founded in 2008 in Switzerland, socially responsible, that is a member of the United Nations Global Compact.
Over 4 years experience in difficult areasFollowing a pilot project in the Sine Saloum region in Senegal, in 2011, SFW keeps on installing machines in the country. These four years of experience have enabled SFW not only to develop a quality machine, adapted to end users, but also to develop a concept of effective maintenance. Today:
• 80 systems are in service every day,• 100% of installed machines are operating, some of them
for 4 years.
A suitable business modelIn 2012, SFW has initiated the Access To Water Foundation (A2W). Since then, this non-profit foundation manages a water purification program and a job creation program. The business model is based on the sale of water, at an affordable price, between 0.3 and 1.5 cents$ per liter, which funds local wages, the maintenance of the machine and the renewal of the fleet, which ensures the sustainability of the program (www.accesstowaterfoundation.org).Today, the “Diam’O” kiosks, «water of peace», provide new access to water to approximately 200,000 people and 250 workplaces have been created.
This program has a significant impact on:• Health: reduction of water-related diseases such as
diarrhea;• Economy : creation of workplaces;• Social: fight against rural exodus, transfer of know-how,
training;• Environment: fuel savings through on-site production,
solar energy.
The Access To Water Foundation, under Swiss law, is a non-profit organisation and recognized as a public utility. It achieves this program thanks to the help of the following partners:
