5.1 The Engine’s Start and the Operation of PTO

The function of the PTO is that conveying the power from the engine to the oil pump and

the pump eports high-pressure oil to the wor!ing mechanism so as to carry out every

movement"

 Caution:

a. Handles in operator’s cab are in neutral before the PTO engaged.

b. The outrigger handles are also in neutral.

c. The handle of the gear-bo is in neutral.

d. The chassis is in the state of bra!ing.

5.1.1 The PTO Engaging Operation

1) open the shutoff valve of the hydraulic tan!"

 

2) turn the power switch on and start the engine"

Turn the handle of the hydraulic tan! cut-off valve as shown in the figure to connect the

hydraulic tan! and the hydraulic system"

Turn the start switch #elow the steering

wheel as shown in the graph to ma!e the

system electricity on"

$ontinue to turn it in the same direction

to start the engine" Preheat and then start the

engine when in cold weather"

Press the PTO switch,connect the PTO,the

indicator light of the PTO is on  , the PTO

connected"

*oose the clutch pedal slightly+ the pump driving

mechanism and hydraulic system wor!"

The engine runs steady,the air pressure,0"&~0".Pa"

Caution: "un the engine about 15 to #$ %inutes before operation.

2)resume the handle of the gear-#o to neutral"

 

3)disconnect the PTO"

%) release the clutch/s pedal

Press the PTO switch,the PTO indicator light is off+

the PTO cuts off"

a.Step and loose the clutch slo'l(.

b.The engine’s speed can be controlled b( the accelerating button besides the

outrigger’s control )al)e or the accelerator pedal in the operator’s cab * and also the

pedal in dri)er’s cab.

c.+f the PTO s'itch pressed b( accident in dri)ing* step the clutch pedal i%%ediatel(

other'ise it is )er( dangerous.

d.,hen repairing or echanging the PTO and dri)ing %echanis% for oil pu%p* do

put up a 'arning board on the start !e( at the chassis other'ise it is )er( dangerous.

e.The chassis operations related 'ith the engine start and stop etc. refers to the

operation %anual for chassis.

Press the engine-stopping switch until theengine stops"

Turn the start !ey anticloc!wise until themeter lights in the meter panel are off+ the totalsystem is cut off"
