Three Things “Lost” in Luke Chapter 15 (The Three Apostolic Aspects of God’s Work)

路 15章中三件失掉的東西(神三方面使徒性的工作)

These three parables speak about the sequence of God’s plan of redemption.

這三個比喻說到神救贖計畫的順序。

The first parable concerns:

The Lord Jesus coming to do the good Shepherd’s work

Jn 10 tells us that the good Shepherd lays down His life for His sheep (Jn 10:10-11).

第一個比喻是關於主耶穌來做好牧人的工作。約 10章告訴我們好牧人為祂的羊捨命(約 10:10-11)。

The second parable concerns: Woman seeking for the lost coin

第二個比喻是關於婦人尋找失落的錢 There is a difference between the good Shepherd looking for the sheep and woman seeking for the coin.

好牧人尋找失羊和婦人尋找失錢有點不同。

The good Shepherd looked for sheep outside the house; and the Lord Jesus left the Father’s

house to come to the world to look for us.

好牧人是在家外尋羊；主耶穌離開父家到世上來尋找我們。

The woman sought for the lost coin within her house. She lit her LAMP, swept the house and sought diligently.

婦人是在她家裡找尋失錢。她點上燈，打掃屋子，細細的找。

The woman typifies the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit came into us to enlighten us so that we might receive the Lord Jesus’ accomplished redemption.

婦人代表聖靈。聖靈進入我們裡面光照我們好叫我們能接受主耶穌已成就的救贖。

The Bible reveals that God has two gifts for us, not just one. God gave us His Son and He also gave us the Holy Spirit. (Jn 3:16 and Jn 14:16)

聖經告訴我們神賜給我們不是只有一個禮物而是兩個。神把祂的兒子給了我們，祂也把聖靈賜給

我們(約 3:16和 14:16)。

God not only sent the Lord Jesus as a good Shepherd to seek for us, but He also sent the Holy Spirit to enlighten us.

神不單差主耶穌為一個好牧人來尋找我們，祂也差遣聖靈來光照我們。

First parable does not mention the lamp. 第一個比喻沒提到燈。

Second parable mentions the lamp. 第二個比喻提到了燈。

First parable speaks of searching outside the house. 第一個比喻說到在屋外搜尋。

1. A lost sheep → outside house Good Shepherd

失羊 屋外 好牧人

2. A lost coin → inside house Holy Spirit

失錢 屋內 聖靈

3. A lost son → returned to the house Forgiven sin

浪子 回家 罪得赦免

Second parable speaks of searching within the house. 第一個比喻說到在屋裡搜尋。

Apostle Cho’s note曹使徒的註釋:

The Lord Jesus went outside the house; that is, He went to the world to find the lost sheep.

主耶穌走到屋外；意思是，祂來到世界上尋找失羊。

The Holy Spirit is in the house—within us—enlightening us with the lamp to seek diligently for the lost coin.

聖靈是在屋裡—在我們裡面—光照我們像點著燈細細尋找失錢。

Third parable is of a father waiting at home for the return of his son.

第三個比喻是父親在家等候他的兒子歸回。

The Savior has come, and the Holy Spirit has come to seek so that the Lord’s accomplished redemption will not be in vain.

救主已經來了，聖靈已經來搜尋，好叫主所成就的救贖不是徒然的。

God is waiting at home for the son to return so that the Holy Spirit’s accomplishment will not be in vain.

神正在家等著兒子回來好叫聖靈所成就的不是枉費的。

Taking away the first or second parable would make the other parables inadequate. If the good Shepherd did not come to lay down His life for the sheep, redemption would not have been accomplished.

少了第一或是第二個比喻會使其他的比喻顯得不足。 如果好牧人沒來為羊捨了祂的命，救贖就無

法是已經完成。

If the Holy Spirit did not enlighten men, none would be convicted concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment.

若是聖靈不光照人，就沒人會為罪、為義、為審判自己責備自己(約 16:8譯者註)。

Although some may be partially convicted concerning their sins, without the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, they would not be totally convicted concerning sin, righteousness, and

judgment.

雖然有人可能會承認他們部份的罪，沒有聖靈的光照，他們不會為罪、為義、為審判完全知罪。

Without good Shepherd laying down His life for the sheep, it would not have been able for the Father to take in the prodigal son when he returned home.

沒有好牧人為羊捨了祂的命，當浪子回家時，父親就不能收納他。

The enlightening work of the Holy Spirit is based on the Lord Jesus’ death. If the Lord Jesus had not died, the heavenly Father would not have forgiven man’s sin.

聖靈光照的工作是基於主耶穌的死。假如主耶穌沒死，天父就不會赦免人的罪。

「 Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins. If forgiveness

could be obtained without the Lord Jesus’ blood, there would be no need of a Savior.」 Apostle Cho’s emphasis

「 若不流血，罪就不得赦免。若沒有主耶穌的血就能蒙赦免，人就不需要救主了。」

If we did not have a Savior, we would never have peace in our conscience.

如果我們沒有救主，我們的良心就決不會有平安。 Since the Lord Jesus has died and accomplished redemption, the heavenly Father is waiting to receive us.

因為主耶穌已經死了且已完成救贖，天父正等著收納我們。

「 When the prodigal son returned home, his father did not have a rebuking word or

word exhorting him to repent, because the Savior had accomplished redemption for him. And the Holy Spirit had enlightened him. As a result, his sins were forgiven and washed by the blood.」 Apostle Cho’s emphasis

「 當浪子回家時，他父親沒有一句責備或勸他悔改的話，因為救主已為他成就了救贖，

聖靈也已光照了他。因此他的罪被血洗盡，蒙了赦免。」 曹使徒的加強

I believe that the three parables in Luke Chapter 15 are not repetitious; they are God’s plan of

redemption. Amen.
