By Wong Nyuk Lin (黃玉麟 ), ACS, CL Wong Nyuk Lin, joined Toastmasters in 2002,

He is the Division K Public Relations Officer for

term 2011/2012 & a dedicated Immediate Past

President of Tawau Mandarin Toastmasters Club.

Stephen Fernando joined TMI in the year 2000.He has won the District International Speech contestin 2004 and 2010. He has won the District

Humourous Contest in 2004/2005/2006/2008.

He was District champion for Evaluation in 2007.

Additionally, he was 1st runner up for Table Topics atDistrict level in 2001 (Hong Kong) and 2004(Penang). In 2004, he was placed 2nd at the InterDistrict contest in Reno Nevada, USA.

In 2010 he was a contestant at the Inter DistrictContest in California USA.

Richard is the Lieutenant Governor, Education &Training (LGET) of District 87, which covers

Toastmasters clubs in Indonesia, Brunei and East

Malaysia. He has earned the Distinguished

Toastmaster (DTM) Award, which is the highest

award offered by Toastmasters International. He has

won many speech contests at local, regional and

international levels. Richard has emceed many

functions for various occasions.
