朱明清教授1940年出生于中国上海。1987年朱教授在中国北京首届“世界针联成立暨学术交流大会”上，现场治疗急性中风偏瘫病人，使其当场站立行走，到会近百个国家和地区的代表感到震撼。朱明清教授从此也蜚声海内外。

1987年，朱教授以傑出人士身份，受台湾红 〸 字 会 及 台 中 中 国 医 药 学 院 邀 请 访台。这是海峡兩岸40年来医学界的首次交流。他的访问引起轰动，当时媒体描述为“神针朱”、“朱明清旋风”。

1987至1989年任中华全国针灸学头穴组副组长，并参与头皮针国际标准化方案的制定。发表论文多篇及出版著作有《朱氏 头 皮 针 》 、 《 针 灸 治 疗 急 症 手册》、《朱氏头皮針彩色图谱》、《朱氏头皮針医学基础学分冊》。

朱教授1996年入选《中外名人辞典》，2001年加州执照针灸医师工会中国医学研究院院士，2002年全美中医师工会学术顾问，2009年入选全球华人风云榜。

50余载执业生涯，朱教授治病、教学一日未辍，行医迹遍全球。

The ancient Chinese proverb, "Be a good doctor, if not a good minister” advocates a sense of mission of the medical profes-sion. Like good ministers, doctors embrace the people, and moreover, heal patients and save lives.

Dr. Ming Qing Zhu, the founder of Zhu's Scalp Acupuncture (ZSA), created a unique style of treatment that can be applied to a wide variety of diseases with effective results, especially in emergency and critical cases, bringing hope to desperate patients. In order to extend the amazing benefits of ZSA to a wider community, Dr. Zhu and his students are organizing this international free treat-ment event.

Dr. Ming Qing Zhu graduated from the first acupuncture class of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1964. He was then sent to the countryside to practice where he became a remarkable healer. In 1987, Dr. Zhu demonstrated an innovative acupuncture technique on a hemiplegic stroke patient at the inaugural meeting of the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies in Beijing where the patient was able to stand up and walk without support after the treatment.

In 1987, Dr. Zhu was invited by the Red Cross and the China Medical University in Taiwan as an Outstanding Individual from Mainland China. This was the first formal invitation bestowed upon a Chinese medical professional in 40 years across the Taiwan Strait.

The sensational response to his visit was described by Taiwanese media as the "Whirlwind of Zhu's Magic Needles." Dr. Zhu was also presented with the 1990 Acupuncturist of the Year Award by the International Congress of Chinese Medicine and Qi Gong.

Throughout his 50-year career in Chinese Medicine, Dr. Zhu has never stopped teaching and treating patients who seek him out from around the world. Dr. Zhu is a co-founder of Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture Research & Education Foundation, the Director of Zhu's Neuro-Acu-puncture & Rehabilitation Center and published numerous books and research papers.
