3. The instruction of the screen in the course

3-1 Build, Teach, and Student View

The screen after the login is called “「ホームページ」(Homepage)”. The indication in the course displayed depending on a tab on the left. ビルド(Build tab) is tab to develop a course. When you have designer authority, it is displayed. 講師 (Instructor Tools) is tab for teachers. Teachers can make and grade

(mark) tests and assessments. When you registered as a teacher, it is displayed. 学生表示 (Student view) is the indication same as the students’. When you registered as a student, any tab is not displayed. ※If you want to see different courses, you have to go back to “My Blackboard” with clicking 「My Blackboard」of the top right corner.

4-1 Folder

This icon means “Folder”. When you use folders, you can make contents easy to understand and see.

Click 「サンプルフォルダ1(Sample folder1)」.

Your location

There are three contents in 「サンプルフォルダ1(Sample folder1)」 folder. ※ When you see “Your Location”, you can check you are in 「サンプルフォル

4-3 Course Content

学習モジュール Learning Modules ・・ You can arrange contents by incorporating a HTML file and other course contents, and can show it.

課 題 Assignments・・It is the tool that you let you submit a report to a

student. You can let a student attach a file and write in it at the text area directly.

And when a student submitted a report with Assignment tool, you have setting to let an email transmit a message to the appointed e-mail address.

ディスカッション Discussions・・This is the bulletin board that you and students

can perform a contribution and the reply of the message. When you let students argue, it is convenient to use this. In addition, it is usable as a tool of the report presentation because it can be attached a file.

アセスメント Assessments・・It is an online test on WebCT. You can make the

tests of various forms such as Multiple Choice and Paragraph, Fill in the Blank. You can mark (grade) it automatically depending on the form of the test.

You have also setting to let an email transmit a message to the appointed e-mail address, when a student submitted a report with Assessment tool. However, in the case of the assessment that students can take an assessment for many times, you have to remember it, because an email is transmitted whenever submitted.

SCORM モジュール SCORM・・This is imported SCORM contents package Web リンク Web Links・・It can display the list of the Internet Protocol address

all together. You can incorporate it in Learning Modules and set Selective Release on it.

シラバス Syllabus・・You can inform it of course information in this
