Gb over IP interconnection guideline1 The difference between static configuration and dynamic configurationThere are only two differences between static configuration and dynamic configuration:(1) When configure the NSE, we need to configure the server IP address and server UDP port number only for dynamic configuration. (2) Remote NSVL need to be configured only for static configuration.

IP address: port IP UDP port No.: any number larger than 1024 is OK.

The same with local NSVL of SGSN.

4 Maintenance (MML)1Ping IP After you finish configuration, use MML to check the whether the physical link between BSC and SGSN is OK.

2DSP REMOTENSVL For dynamic configuration, this command is to check whether the remote NSVL is ok.

3DSP GBIPROUTE This command is to IP router which shows the status of NS.

4DSP SIGBVCDSP PTPBVC The normal status of SIGBVC and PTPBVC should be unblocked.
