    Winning secondary

    1. Know the offense we must defend2. Always think about the big play interception3. Always cover receivers downfield in run/pass as long as there is a threat of a pass4.

    Leverage the ball with the proper position, coverage rotation5. Make the QB be extremely accurate and throw to a specific area

    At LSU, Corey Webster was a WR who wasnt starting but was in the top 25 players on theteam. So, to get him on the field the coaches moved him to CB. He was reluctant about the move

    at first but had good ball skills and was able to tackle. After 2 years of playing WR at LSU and 2years of playing CB at LSU (one year he was voted All-American), Corey was drafted by the

    New York Giants and now has a Super Bowl ring to show for it. If he remained a WR he mightnot have received as much exposure or given the opportunity to show his athletic talents.
