LINTEC entered the semiconductor industry in 1984, and

introduced UV-curable Dicing tapes in the same year. The

product was the first cutting-edge high performance UV-curable

Dicing tapes on the market. The dedicated brand "Adwill"

was created in 1987 with the meaning and abbreviation of

"Adhesion Level at Will", which denoted a flexible and multiple-

purpose adhesive product.

The Adwill series has many applications, such as back

grinding, dicing and mounting process in semiconductor

foundries. The versatile product line includes UV-curable Dicing

Tapes, Back Grinding Tapes, Backside Coating Tapes and Dicing

Die Bonding Tapes(D-DAF). LINTEC continues to make steady

progress to offer multiple options for fitting specific process or

component requirements.

To bring total solutions to customers, LINTEC try its best to

integrate taping machinery and equipment. Now, LINTEC has

developed a series of Fully-Automatic and Semi-Automatic

Multifunction Wafer Mounters, BG Tape Remover and UV

Irradiation System. This functional equipment can help

customers achieve high quality and high stability standards of

various mounting processes.

With continuous efforts to develop R&D capabilities and

advanced technologies, LINTEC fulfills the sophisticated

resolving issues of Wafer Level Chip Scale Package (WLCSP)

by developing backside coating tape(LC Tape) to protect and

reinforce the die backside, in which the chip is mounted onto a

The brand Opteria was created to fulfill the requirements from

the optoelectronic industry. Opteria products are designed

for thin, light-weighted and highly functional mobile devices and

this series of products includes optically clear adhesive sheet

(OCA), functional coated film and Anti-Shatter Film (ASF), which

is a combination of adhesive sheet and hard coat film.

OCA sheets can be used to laminate various components of

mobile devices such as touch-screens and displays. And the

functional coated film is the material developed with different

functions to fit different requirements of optics, electricity

and physical characteristics. The precise thin-film coating

technology with gap-filing ability prevents surface gaps or tilts

caused by non-uniform coating processes. Thus LINTEC offers

high-quality coated products.

The Hard Coat film is the material with anti-fingerprint, anti-

glare properties and resistance to metal corrosion. It provides

multiple and versatile functional products to adapt to different

customer needs. Through smart fusion of these technologies

this product also prevents shattering when the protection glass

of a device is damaged or broken. The Hard Coat lineup with

shatter-proof capability and high transparency makes itself as a

high value-added solution for mobile devices.

Through the development of adhesives, design of coating

LINTEC Advanced Technologies (Taiwan), Inc. started as

a trading business, focused on importing and selling

semiconductor adhesive materials, manufacturing process

machinery and optically functional films for fulfilling requirements

from the semiconductor, optoelectronic and electronic industries.

In June 2011 we decided to establish a Slitting Factory to meet

the rapidly evolving demands in the market.

The establishment of a Slitting Factory allows for dynamic

customized specification and local manufacturing. The lead-

time has been shortened from 14 days to one or two days.

Our customers can lower their cost massively by shrinking

shipment schedule and administration hours. Moreover, with

our flexible product supply services, customers can optimize

their warehousing and logistics arrangement. LINTEC helps

customers to achieve superior cost control and efficient

inventory management.

The investment of the Slitting Factory exceeded TWD

100 million (around USD 3.3 million). It will be continuously

expanded to keep in synch with the strong development of

semiconductor and electronics industries in Taiwan. LINTEC will

watch the further development of future market trends and re-

invest in more factories and professional specialists to expand

manufacturing capacity and strengthen product line-up to fulfill

future market needs.

only LINTEC Group Corporation subsidiary to build an

Application Center (abbreviation as APC) in the world. The

APC provides an experimental testing environment identical to

customers' production lines to help them respond rapidly to

the changing market. Through continuous innovation of brand-

new adhesive materials and advanced processing equipment,

LINTEC provides customers an ideal communication platform

for assessing solutions to f ind the best solutions and

parameters for their manufacturing. The platform also receives

of attention from other customers in Asia and attracts many

visitors to exchange ideas and opinions. With the advance

assessment and simulation tests, and the help from our

engineers, we can provide suggestions to shorten their time to

set up the manufacturing process and find the best solutions to

The idea of an APC was raised in June of 2005. It took

2 years of preparation before the APC officially opened in

April 2007. For providing complete services, APC is equipped

with Fully-Automatic BG Tap Laminator, Fully-Automatic

Multifunction Wafer Mounter, Fully-Automatic UV Irradiation

System, Fully-Automatic LC Tape Laminator, Fully Automatic

Grinder, Fully Automatic Dicing Saw, Laser Saw for Stealth

Dicing and Die Bonder. The total investment exceeds TWD 300
