2012 Parlee Z1 55cm custom frame Enve 1.0 fork Dura-Ace Di2 Zipp 404 Firecrest Frame and Wheel is auctioning a Parlee Z1 bicycle on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The bicycle was ordered and purchased new in November 2011. It was delivered and built up in 2012. The owner rode the bicycle twice and found that the fit was not suitable. The bicycle has never been crashed. It has been professionally maintained. The wheels were purchased new in 2012 and used only for racing. The owner is selling the bicycle because he has another bicycle that fits better. The frame set features Parlee Unidirectional (UD) SL tubing, carbon lugs, dual seat stays with carbon brake bridge, chain stay mounted battery, carbon front derailleur hanger band, titanium rear drop outs, internal cabling for electronic shifting, braze-on carbon brake cable stops, translucent Parlee lettering, external Chris King NoThreadSet and Enve 1.0 carbon front fork. The bicycle features Shimano Dura-Ace 7970 Di2 front and rear derailleurs and shifters, Shimano Dura-Ace 7950 compact crank set, Shimano Dura-Ace 7900 brakes, Enve carbon seat post with Parlee seat post clamp; Fizik Antares 00 carbon rail seat, 3T Ergosum LTD carbon handlebars and 3T ARX-Pro stem; Zipp 404 Firecrest “Beyond Black” tubular wheel set with Continental Competition tires; very light weight and Parlee custom shop provenance. The bicycle as shown weighs 14 pounds 9 ounces (6.6 kg). It is a custom frame and thus no serial number is provided. The serial number on the front fork steer tube reads 111015. Peabody, Massachusetts, where it will be inspected for any faults. Upon completion, Parlee Cycles will reissue the warranty to the new owner. This costs $250 payable to Parlee Cycles. Frame and Wheel can administer this process on behalf of the winner.

Review of conditionThe bicycle is in very good condition. It is clean and ready to ride. The battery charges properly and holds its charge. The shifting is precise and complete in all twenty gears. The brakes activate easily and grip well. There is 5 mm of pad remaining on the wear indicators. The brake cable housing and cables are fresh. The hubs spin smoothly and freely. The spokes are tight and straight. The rims are round and the wheels are true. There is no lateral or vertical variation in the rims when placed in a truing stand. There are no cracks, flexing, flaking or discoloration in the carbon rim or the carbon shell. There are no cracks in the hub bodies. There are no cracks in the flanges of the hubs. There is no corrosion on the spokes, the nipples or on the skewers. The stickers are not peeling off. The skewers are straight and complete. There are no cracks in the tire side walls. The tires hold pressure.

There is no cracking, discoloration, bulging, flexing or flaking that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the frame. There is no road wear on the bottom of the down tube, the back of the seat tube, on the chain stays, under the fork crown or the under the rear brake bridge. The rear triangle is in alignment with centerline of the frame. The rear derailleur hanger is straight and undamaged. The front derailleur hanger band is undamaged and secured firmly.

There is no cracking, discoloration, bulging or flexing that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the front fork. The steer tube does not show any cracks or bulges. The crown race is secured firmly. The head set cartridge bearings are mounted securely and turn smoothly. There is no play in the bottom bracket. There is no corrosion in the seat post collar bolt. The integrated water bottle cage bolts are not stripped and they are straight. The brake cable stops are undamaged and free of obstructions. The handlebars are not damaged. The bar tape is fresh and mounted securely. There are no rips or abrasions on the seat. The chain does not read 0.75 or 1.0 on the chain wear tool.

Frame and Wheel notes the following. There is a 5 mm x 10 mm flap of carbon layering on the end of the steer tube. There is light wear on the rear drop outs. The braking surfaces of the rims show light wear. There are notches on the free hub body. There is wear around the center of the handle bars. The rear tire tread shows wear.
